Hey Smile

I was a part of a lovely thread that has now closed. So I’m starting a new one for all of those who will be testing in July.

I myself will be due to test the 1st of July

Let me know your test dates!

Good luck all

All being well, I will be testing 11 July šŸ¤žšŸ¤ž

Crash1d · 14/06/2020 23:34

@LT103 not too long to wait!
Do you test when AF is due?
Ok recent threads I’ve seen a lot of ladies taking Early prediction tests. I try to wait till AF is due.

Hi ladies, this is my first cycle of TTC since coming off the pill last month.
Should be testing around the 11th July šŸ¤žšŸ¼

cammie4 · 15/06/2020 05:44

Testing around the 1st July ! šŸ¤žšŸŒø

Rumples · 15/06/2020 06:07

AF due 8th July for me. I'll try and hold out until then to test.

zippityzip · 15/06/2020 06:13

Testing on 6th July. Although I don't know if I'm ovulating yet as I've only just come off contraception a few weeks ago. Fingers crossed!!

LT103 · 15/06/2020 08:42

@Crash1d I came off pill at end January and started taking folic acid then but we didn’t decide to start trying until a couple of months ago. I think we were too late into that cycle when we decided so this is either cycle 2 or 3 of trying. It’s the first cycle where I’ve decided to track things and we’re properly going to try though

mynameislou · 15/06/2020 10:03

Hello!
Hope you don't mind me jumping on this thread 😊

I came off the pill after being on it for 7 years at the start of January. Luckily I had a withdrawal bleed at the end of Jan, and have had regular 31 day cycles ever since.
My husband and I turned 33 last month and we've decided that we're more than ready to start TTC. I'm so excited!
Sooo, I've been taking folic acid daily since the end of May and we're spending the rest of June TTC.
AF should be due on 9th July, so we'll be testing around then!

Fingers crossed to you all! X

Can anyone help me with my OPKs?

I don't really know what I'm doing but I guessed if I pee on an OPK every day I would at least get an idea of if/when I'm ovulating instead of just relying on apps.

But they all look like this? Once I had a very faint second line so it was obviously negative but the subsequent ones I'm taking don't even have a hint of a second line.

Is this normal? Are they a dud batch? Am I just not even remotely ovulating and that's why I'm only getting a control line?

Crash1d · 15/06/2020 12:57

@zippityzip

I have the femometer app and I also have the OPK and HGC strips that match the app.
I also got the Bluetooth thermometer but I always forget lol.

I would start using an app if you can. And pop in your last period dates. That should offer you a window as to when you're likely to ovulate.

Then once the app predicts possible conception take 2 tests a day. Not your first wee though. And if you drink loads it will dilute your wee and give a fainter like.

I do this and I get through about 5-10 strips a month.

With the femometer app you can scan their strips and they will give you a reading.
The box of strips which had 50 ovulations strips and I think 20/30 pregnancy tests for around £15. The app is free.

Of course if you have a kit and another app you can try the above with your own stuff. I've just found the femometer really easy.

Good luck! Keep us posted with your progress

Hey all!

Welcome to the thread.

It's so exciting to see people hoping on the bus.

I can see we're all testing first few weeks of July. So not a long time to wait to hopefully see some BPF.

Good luck and baby dust to everyone

I've downloaded Ovia and it tells me roughly when my fertile window is, which is like a week long!?
I've only had a withdrawal bleed since coming off contraception so I know I'm getting ahead of myself. Just so keen to get started!
My FW is apparently next week so I may just start testing then.
I'll have a look at the femometer app thank you ā˜ŗļø

zippityzip · 15/06/2020 13:01

Says that Femometer is £49 a year! Is that right?

ohbaby3 · 15/06/2020 17:22

Hello I'd like to jump on please... will be testing at some point beginning of July if AF doesnt show! I am only on my first proper month ttc baby 3, I had my copper coil removed in may! Tried in may when i thought i was fertile, my period ended up being 5 days late!! But I wasnt pregnant much to my surprise as I could of sworn by my symptoms that I was Confused
Anyway June is a new month, is anyone else trying for baby 3? It will be my partners first baby! X

SkyBlue20 · 15/06/2020 22:58

Hi all, can I join?

I’m 33, trying for baby #1. Got pregnant at first time of trying in Jan, sadly had a MMC at the end of March and then it took until May to get an MVA due to Coronavirus delays. Last week I had my first period after my MVA and have just started TTC again. I don’t track temps or anything so am just going for the every other day method! I know ovulation can be all over the place after a miscarriage so am not holding out hope for this month and also have no idea for sure when AF would be due but I imagine around 12th July so probably wouldn’t think about testing until a few days after that. Seems ages away!

Anyway, hope we can all go through this crazy journey together and this will be a lucky thread with lots of BFPs!

Charlotte2020 · 16/06/2020 11:42
