Hi all

After some advice and any knowledge on the subject...

My periods for as long as I've known are usually 3 -4 days max. However this time round I'm on day 8 and still am bleeding lightly with period pains.

My question is is this normal and when should
I speak to a Gp if it continues and also will it impact the next ovulation?

Thanks all 🙏🏼

As you are posting on the conception board, I’m assuming you are ttc so I wonder if you are experiencing a chemical/very early miscarriage. If so, it might push your next cycle out by a few days.

I am also experiencing this!!! I've always had a 3 day period and now I'm on day 6 and still spotting. How have you found the last month?

Last month was month 1 of ttc and I don't know if my body has been confused 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

My periods have always been between 5 and 7 days. The only time I had a longer one (10 days) was with my chemical pregnancy.

Have the pains been any worse this month? Any large clots? That’s what my CP had

Herbys · 02/07/2020 20:27

Pains are worse and longer! Maybe it was a CP, I had tested beforehand but I couldn't see anything - but I know that some get late positives!

I will stop fretting over this weirdness and put it down to a blip and continue on next week! Thanks for your wisdom
