Never thought I’d do this but... line eyes please?

Hello

Period was due on Friday (just in time for my birthday!) but obviously didn’t come. I’ve been feeling pretty nauseous for the past week and my nipples are so painful anytime my breastfed toddler latches. Decided to take a test that I had in the cupboard just to put my mind at rest that I just have a lurgy that’s making me want to be sick all the time...

Until the test didn’t put my mind at ease. Please could anybody tell me that my eyes are just very tired and there isn’t a very faint line?

Thank you x

Sorry OP, I think that is a very faint line 😬

It does seem very faint for 3 days late though, are you sure you were due on Friday? Or is the test very old? Or not first morning wee? Not sure which test it is so maybe just not that sensitive, but I'd say there's definitely something there.

I was due on Friday/Saturday but usually fall like clockwork. It was a “toddler is having her lunch nap, let’s test to make sure” wee.

Looks like I might have to get some FRER’s ordered from amazon to be delivered tomorrow 😅

I can see the line as well but it’s hard to tell if it’s pink. What brand of test is that?

Bobbiepin · 08/06/2020 12:14

I can see a faint line. FRER for the morning is a good idea. Save your FMU in a cup if they won't be delivered until later.

Mamajns · 08/06/2020 12:15

I can also see a faint line, I think your right though, tey a FRER & hopefully the line will be a bit clearer.

TimeWastingButFun · 08/06/2020 12:17

I see a line! Congratulations!

OhWifey · 08/06/2020 12:21

I found the nipple pain when toddler latched to be a real tell tale. It's what made me test. Maybe try to get a FRER

Thegirlhasnoname · 09/06/2020 13:31

Still no AF but the FRER were just delivered so will take one tomorrow morning if nothing happens before then (even if the temptation is hard to resist!)

That test I used was a cheap one from Wilko

A FRER should be accurate any time of the day if you are 4 days late.

Going on your message I did one of the FRER on a 2 hour hold (I’m finding it hard to hold for longer unless I’m asleep!) and that kind of looks like a faint pink line to me.

I’ll do one in the morning just to be doubly accurate but oh wow. 🙃

Looks a fair bit darker in real life compared to that last picture I posted!

That's a pretty clear line OP!

Elephantonascooter · 09/06/2020 16:18

Wow yea that's positive op!

Mamimawr · 09/06/2020 16:43

Congratulations!!!

blindmansbluff · 09/06/2020 16:47

That is a definite line.

Thegirlhasnoname · 10/06/2020 04:58

I thought it’d be super dark like the test line (maybe that’s because it was like that when I was pregnant with toddler DD But I found out at 7 weeks then!!)

100% a line. Hopefully it sticks as our “what will be, will be” attempt to TTC, without actually TTC, took a lot less time than the year it did for DD.

Thank you everybody.... now to tell DH!
