Had bloods taken... What now?

Bit of background info...

We have been TTC for six months now (I'm 26 and OH is in mid 30s. I have irregular periods and although I believe I do ovulate eventually for the most part, I don't ovulate frequently which is making TTC very difficult for us. I went to see the gp this week and had bloods taken, and I'm now waiting for the results. Has anyone had a similar experience and can advise me on what happens next? I know it depends on what the blood tests show, but if they come back and reveal I'm not ovulating, what will likely be the next step?

I’ve not had tests done by the gp but from things I’ve read it seems like clomid can be a next step for women that are shown to not be ovulating on their own.

I imagine they'll try one of several medications to help you to ovulate. 😊
Some doctors suggest going on the pill for a month to see if that helps but I would always refuse that as it seems count intuitive when there are other options they can go for.

Could be more tests, could be ovulation regulated medicin (in the form of a pill or injections, or first one and then if it doesn't work for you the other). They'll probably try that first before IUI or IVF. It works well in most cases with ovulatory problems.
