Is anyone else around 6dpo?

Hey, I'm around 6dpo but I have an average of 31 day long cycle so still got about 9 days until AF is due. I've had some twinges yesterday but today I had some cramps that were like mild period pains and a dot of blood in pants (sorry a bit tmi), so hopefully this is implantation 🤞
Just wondering if anyone else is in a similar time in their cycle that wants to obsess with me for the rest of their cycle? 😂🙈

Thanks for the welcome @beachbum85 and @ShellMc2237
@TTCgee I always felt really 'wet' in my previous pregnancies although I can't recall from when if you know what I mean. This will be tmi but I felt so wet I used to run to the toilet thinking I was bleeding or something, 🤞🏻 it's a good sign. 2 of my recent cycles have felt 'wet' though and it's been bfn but probably not as bad as pregnancy so there is a difference.
I'm cross at myself for testing early now lol I never did with my other pregnancies 🙈 but this ttc journey all my rules have went out the window 😂

Hi Everyone

Currently 12 DPO, AF due Monday 8th. I am posting because of the dreams, been having these since 7 DPO and they are so strange and making me jump out of my sleep. The thing is I already have a LO and got a BFP 2 days before AF. What made me test was how sore my boobs were. I don't have that this time... Guess I will see what Monday brings x

BobbingAlong91 · 05/06/2020 16:11

Mind if I join? I think I’m around 6dpo, TTC cycle 1. Had zero symptoms until yesterday when I had some brown bleeding and intermittent cramping, but not like AF cramps - sharper. In the evening, I started getting some boob pain at the sides. Probably just my body playing tricks on me but we’ll see!

So interesting to read about all the vivid dreams! I hope it’s a good sign for everyone ☺️

Emae26 · 05/06/2020 18:26

Hey everyone, do you guys test with cheapies first or do you go straight for a frer? Just wondering before I decide what I'm going to order this month!

daisy0805 · 05/06/2020 18:37

@emea26 I am curious of this too! It's my first month and I have no clue. I've bought cheapies from Amazon as per a recommendation on here:

15 x Ultra Early - 10mIU Wide... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0026RQ75W?ref=ppxpoppmobappshare

But I'm yet to use them so can't give a personal recommendation xx

MrsB25 · 05/06/2020 22:07

Welcome everyone! Good luck 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@Emae26 I’ve only actually had one month where I tested, other times AF/cramps have arrived so I haven’t needed to. That month AF was annoyingly 3 days late so I really got my hopes up. I started with a couple of cheapies, then when AF still didn’t arrive I tried an FRER in case they just weren’t sensitive enough. It was negative and AF arrived a couple of hours later. I think getting some cheapies would be good if you’re planning on testing early, as FRER are really expensive!

Emae26 · 05/06/2020 22:25

@MrsB25 okay thank you. I think I'm going to try and hold off until AF is due until I buy any tests, was just wondering what you all reccomend if I was to order some.

Emae26 · 05/06/2020 22:29

If I was to wait until after AF is due would you guys recommend getting a frer or going straight for a digital? Would a digital be sensitive enough at that point? There are roughly the same price on Amazon so was just wondering what you would all recommend

OP posts:
Em1194 · 05/06/2020 22:43

@Emae26 personally I would use frer first as heard the digital ones aren’t as sensitive? ( I could be wrong thought) I’ve got some of the onestep cheap tests from amazon and then a couple of frer x

Nat4392 · 05/06/2020 23:05

@Emae26 FRER all the way definitely, they by far the most accurate. Then follow up with a digital to confirm in writing I’d say 👍🏻

Emae26 · 06/06/2020 08:31

@Em1194 @Nat4392 okay, thank you!

I've woken up this morning with a headache (could be a symptom or could be because I got loads of sleep last night 🙈). I have very vivid dreams again last night, did anyone else?

Nat4392 · 06/06/2020 09:16

@Emae26 I shit you not, I dreamt I was Lumiere from beauty and the beast. If that’s not vivid I don’t know what is!! 😂

kell2126 · 06/06/2020 11:22

9 dpo today and just got this with smu. First pic when wet, second after it dried. I’m confused because had a bfn on frer with fmu. So is this the world’s nastiest evap?? Confused

Is anyone else around 6dpo?

Nat4392 · 06/06/2020 11:28

@kel2126 the test looks flooded. Take a a FRER with FMU in a few day’s, 9DPO is still really early to test x

kell2126 · 06/06/2020 11:34

Thanks @Nat4392. I don’t think it looks flooded though - they often look like that when drying. We’ll see - won’t believe anything till I see a line on a frer! It does make me laugh that if you post a squinter at 9 dpo, folk say it’s too early, but if you post a squinter at 12 dpo, everyone says ‘oh if you were pg it’d be much clearer than that’ like there’s this magic 2-day window only in which any result is valid Grin. FX for us all!

Emae26 · 06/06/2020 12:47

@Nat4392 no way 😂 that's brilliant 😂
@kell2126 I can definitely see a second line but as you've said I would be more convinced with a frer. Definitely looks very hopeful though!

I'm really bloated today, to the point where it look like I have a mini bump and it's making me so emotional... it could be a symptom or it could be my IBS, but I haven't really eaten anything that would set my IBS off... who knows! 🤷‍♀️

OP posts:
AlisonLew15 · 06/06/2020 13:21

@kell2126 definitely looks like a line to me! But I would also use a different test over the next few days to confirm.
I'm 10DPO today but hanging on until AF due.
Excited to see everyone's tests come in!!
best of luck! Xx

MintGreenLife · 06/06/2020 13:43

Hey girls ☺️ I'm possibly 6/7DPO with AF due on the 13th. I'm itching to take a test as I'm not even 100% sure I ovulated this cycle, and if I did when it was...

I had two LH surges but no positive, although one very close to a positive, and my BBT doesn't seem to explain much, but I didn't start until mid cycle so that's probably not very helpful. I had some twinges in the lower middle of my tummy three days ago that lasted two days and nausea at the same time, and some lower back ache. I've attached my chart to see what I mean about LH surges and temp.

I think I'll hold out until the 11th to test as know I'll just feel rubbish if it's a BFN but then still holding on to a little hope thinking it might be too early. This is my first cycle TTC and second cycle off the pill, so I guess my cycle may be a bit off for a while and good chance I didn't ovulate this cycle, still doesn't stop me from hoping 🤞🏼

Is anyone else around 6dpo?
kell2126 · 06/06/2020 14:00

Thanks @AlisonLew15 - will do! When is AF due for you?

@MintGreenLife were you BDing throughout anyway? Symptoms sound positive!! GL!

MintGreenLife · 06/06/2020 14:19

Yep everyother day from CD6 mostly, and on a couple of occasions everyday for a few days, so I guess there's a chance ☺️ Where are you at ATM?

MintGreenLife · 06/06/2020 14:19

@kell2126 message above, couldn't tag you before x

MintGreenLife · 06/06/2020 14:20

@kell2126 just spotted you may have gotten a BFP!! So exciting 😀 What cycle are you for TTC? X

AlisonLew15 · 06/06/2020 14:27

@kell2126 app predicting period due 15th June, although came a bit earlier last month. I'm cycle 2 of trying properly and first time using digital OPKs. Xx

kell2126 · 06/06/2020 15:12

Sorry @Emae26 – didn't see your last message! Thank you – I've got a frer and will hold off as I can before doing ti! Vivid dreams sounds promising...! x

@MintGreenLife Oh there's definitely a chance in that case – you've been busy! Wink I think we're on cycle 18 approx of trying 'the old-fashioned way' and we've had a couple of rounds of IVF too. How about you? Are you TTCing for DC#1?

@AlisonLew15 Ah which kind are you using? I used to have a Clearblue advanced monitor and really liked it, but I lost i when we moved house [facepalm]. Hopefully you'll be lucky and get pg quickly after starting ttc – GL x

AlisonLew15 · 06/06/2020 15:18

@kell2126 I've got the CB advanced digital. It's not the monitor one. These things are so pricey! Thank you for your well wishes. Sounds like you've been through the mill a bit! Is this + test from natural or IVF? X
