Morning guys, I've been TTC for 17 months and I've been testing with internet cheapies ( 10miu one step, baby mad & pro Matis) since 9DPO and not even a glimmer of a line on them. I'm 4 days late for AF today so I though I would just double check with an Co-op own brand 25miu test and see if that's the same and then I got these. Could these be wrong? 🤔

@MummYT13
Please stop testing. You're only going to drive yourself crazy. (I've been there....)
There are many reasons for the tests to be lighter - eg some women get stronger lines later on in the day rather than with FMU.

MummyT13 · 04/06/2020 10:36

I am going to call the Drs first thing tomorrow. I'm used to having chemicals but have never had a BFP on a clear blue digital before. I've got period pains now anyway and pains in my back so I know what's happening. I'm just really devastated as it's been so long TTC. Clear blue digital now shows not pregnant as well so it's only a matter of time now. Thanks for the support guys x

Digital tests are renowned for being less sensitive than FRER and.other pink line tests. The darkness of the line can be nothing to worry about, it is usually based on the concentration of your urine.

Sensitively, stop testing. You'll boil your head. Give it a few days and if AF hasn't arrived, test again.

MummyT13 · 04/06/2020 16:16

Thanks @pooopypants I used FMU for all of my tests yesterday and all of the ones today. I'm so confused why my FRER hasn't started fading yet. I have cramps etc and my CB digital is reading Not pregnant. I can't even get bloods done because of the Covid-19 etc so it's going to be a painful few days waiting 🙁 x

I'm sorry @MummyT13 I hope you get good news and a sticky bean soon!

Thanks @MrsLully! I hope I do too x

Sorry it so confusing for you at the moment! I am thinking there's possibly a chance that where the digital came up positive it just happened to be a more concentrated urine sample than the rest? Like others have said if you're early it's common to get negatives on digitalis but positives on frers, how did you line on frer look today? Did it look the same or darker? X

babybumpfor2020 · 04/06/2020 19:44

I hope you get answers soon, ttc is a horrible rollercoaster of emotions

MummyT13 · 05/06/2020 12:52

This is today ladies, I just can't see any progression from the top on which was 2 days ago. I did get another BFP on the clear blue digital this morning. Got period pains, had bad nausea this morning but I'm so confused. I don't really want the symptoms if I'm going to lose the baby as ridiculous as that sounds ( like I have a choice 🙁) x

@MummyT13 why do you need progression ? A line is a line on an FRER and a digital takes even more HCG ? X

MummyT13 · 05/06/2020 13:11

@lucyrp I have had 2 chemical pregnancies previously and I can't get into the doctors for a blood test etc because they're so full up at the moment with the COVID etc so the only way of seeing if the hcg is rising is to see if the line gets darker. X

@MummyT13 oh I'm sorry to hear that I had a cp last cycle so I'm not even looking forward to seeing my BFP it and when I get one so I understand. Can you not contact your EPU or midwifes ? Where I'm from you don't even go to the doctors they just give you the midwife number and speak to them. You could explain and they should surely get you in for bloods then ? My midwife did my blood test x

lucyrp · 05/06/2020 13:16

@MummyT13 also how far apart were your tests taken ? It takes up to 48 hours for HCG levels to rise so you might have taken them too close together and also this may be helpful to you showing how different women have different levels at different stages c

MummyT13 · 05/06/2020 13:28

@lucyrp I did call the EPU but they're only doing urgent care. They told me to "wait it out"! Very frustrating.

You know when you're worried and you google what you're going through? Well I don't that and couldn't even find a positive story. I never ovulate late so this month is so weird for me.

I've had nausea etc this morning 🙁

@MummyT13 why don't you just ring the midwife and tell them you're pregnant and they'll get you in for your booking appointment because they have to get you in for the bloods etc and they do the rest on the phone and when you're there you can explain etc and they may send you for a scan. I had my booking appointment on the Friday and started bleeding on the Sunday so they had me in that day for bloods to check and they booked a reassurance scan for the next day but I didn't need it because my bloods came back negative straight away because I had an embryo made which gave the positive test result but it hadn't attached therefore my period came. 3 weeks late alas. I was 7 weeks x

Soubriquet · 05/06/2020 13:34

From the looks at all of those, you are certainly pregnant

Please don’t keep testing as it will torture your mind.

Unless you start to bleed, don’t worry.

Try to relax

MrsLully · 05/06/2020 13:36

@MummyT13 all those look like positive pregnancy tests to me. Wait at least three days and test again, but honestly, it would be so difficult to get a clear progression time wise, as Hcg levels tend to go up in pretty random patterns. For some women they rise in the afternoon, for others every couple of days and so on...
Stay positive! Flowers

Hello everyone can I please have line eyes 👀

maria2bela · 05/06/2020 15:39

@MummyT13 Just to put your mind at rest, for now take those as positives...There could be a number of reasons for the tests varying, I understand as you've had previous chemicals it's going to be worrying but for now you can't know for sure. If you're able to afford it, I would look at getting a private blood test, they are quite pricey but for peace of mind it may be worth it. Also, if you can hold out until you'd be 6 weeks then you could book an early private scan x

MrsLully · 05/06/2020 16:45

@LJ25 I think I can see an evaporation line, sorry Sad
