When will ovulation happen after chemical pregnancy?

I've had a chemical pregnancy. Do you think I will ovulate as normal on my next cycle or will it be delayed?

So sorry to hear you’ve had a chemical pregnancy. My next ovulations were delayed. Count first day of bleeding as start of cycle. Also you’re more fertile after a CP and I read lots about people getting pregnant straight away. Hope it works for you

Sorry to hear about your chemical.

After I had a chemical in January, I had my next period exactly when I’d have expected it if I hadn’t conceived but I don’t track ovulation so cant say when/if I ovulated in that cycle. I didn’t have any luck conceiving in the following months after the chemical despite DTD every second day throughout the fertile week but I have heard some people have had luck the following cycle after one.

I’d treat it as any other cycle and would expect you’d ovulate as normal. Wishing you luck 🤞

Hi @AntiHop

So sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy.

I unfortunately had one in April, I ovulated around 2-3 days later than usual and was so surprised to find out I was pregnant again! I’m 5w+2 so it happens 🤞🏼

I had a CP last month - I have tested and ovulated exactly as normal this month.
Good luck OP.

I've had a chemical last month but hugely delayed in terms of HCG dropping. Positive tests and bleeding through entire first 16 days of next cycle. And now today CD18 and pretty darn sure I'm ovulating.

Would love if I was much more fertile after the chemical 🤞😀

Sorry you had a CP
My Dr told me after I had a CP take the day you start bleeding as CD1 (the same as the day AF started) day - ovulation should be about the same time as usual after CD1 so if you usually ovulate CD14 then your ovulation will be 14 days after your bleeding started! Xx
