Afternoon positive test, next morning negative

Hi ladies,
I've been ttc conceive now for 7 months, this month I though was the one but now I'm not sure.
Yesterday I took a test in the afternoon and a faint positive showed. So I bought a FRER and was excited to see a positive show on that this morning but nothing, it's negative.
Now I'm feeling pretty devastated!
I'm 4 days late and don't know what's going on.
Has anyone else had this experience but turned out to be pregnant?
Anyone else only get positives in the afternoon?
It came up quickly and is pink so definitely doesn't appear to be an evap line but it was a faint line.

@steffi88, hi!
I get stronger lines in the afternoon after a few hours hold. However if you had a line on a different test and then the FRER came back completely white it could be a false positive. If you have another FRER, try that again later on? Even better tomorrow... how many dpo are you?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Yes my worry is that it was a false positive :(
I'm 18 DPO so would have thought it would have shown on a FRER by now.
I guess I'll have to wait and see!
