Sex in the TWW

Hi ladies ☺️

I've noticed this TWW I'm not very...ahem...interested in having sex and I reckon I've got a bit of a subconscious irrational fear that we could cause problems to a very early pregnancy if we get too into anything.

Do any of you feel the same? Or am I being a weirdo? Poor hubby feels used and abused this month haha!

My sex drive drops as soon as I'm out of my fertile window. I don't think it's subconscious with me, I think it's just my body's way of saying "nope, missed your chance!"

I’m the same, we DTD loads in the fertile week and it’s not uncommon for us not to DTD at all during the TWW. Partly because we want a rest from it but I also have the same nagging feeling that it could affect implantation, which I know is unlikely but it’s always in the back of my mind

Apparently female orgasms can unsettle implantation... But I mean the odds of you climaxing at the exact moment that egg tries to bury in is so low surely...

Thanks girlies ☺️ you are right @onnaturescourse - logically it makes no sense for me to worry, and Dr Google says it's pretty much safe too!
Aah the joys of female hormones 🤣

I use the kinda rule... Nothing from 2dpo until roughly 10dpo as that's when implantation normally takes place. That said, rules are broken quite a lot 😂 I'm 9DPO just now and have not succeeded in keeping within my own rules this month

SarahTTC2020 · 31/05/2020 09:37

@OnNaturesCourse 🤣🤣 I did chuckle at that!

We've not DTD in ours but then my libido dropped off a cliff after ovulation so I haven't really fancied it

OnNaturesCourse · 31/05/2020 09:53

Sarah - yes, I get that as mine usually does too but this month has been different. I'm blaming the nice weather, all swim wear and water lol

mrswilso · 31/05/2020 11:22

I love that rule! @OnNaturesCourse
