Hi has anyone had this with the clear blue advance kit. Its meant to identify 4 fertile days. I got my flashing smiley face one day, my solid smiley face the next day and that Same night had ovulation pains. Am I doing something wrong with it?

The exact same happened with me this month! CD9 blank circle, CD10 flashing smiley, CD11 static smiley.
This is the first time I’ve used the advanced tests, I usually use the pink ones or just strip tests so I was very confused too as everyone else seems to get many flashing smileys before the static 🤔

I’ve been having literally the same problem. Blank, flashing, solid smiley in three days.

My acupuncturist also gets me to track my temperature alongside and she thinks the Clearblue monitor is giving a solid smiley 1-2 days earlier (ie up to 96 hrs) before I’m actually ovulating.

It's odd isn't it. I'm sure I ovulate the day I got my solid smiley. I get a lot of pain with it. Oh well. Fingers crossed.

Hi. New to OPKS too.
Had the clearblue advanced digital and started testing this week.
Had a low on Monday, flashing smiley Tuesday, flashing Smiley Wednesday and static smiley on Thursday. I was under the impression that once you get a static smiley you don’t need to test again as that’s your peak time? Please tell me if I’m wrong x

Nat4392 · 28/05/2020 23:40

@Alison yes you don’t need to test now you’ve got your peak. The advanced test will also now stay static for 48 hours so you won’t be able to anyway x

Hi,

I'm new to using Clear blue OPK too. I tested on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and they all came back as negatives and yesterday I had a solid smiley face. A bit concerned because I didn't get the flashing one. I do have PCOS and I know kits aren't recommended for us but I thought I would give it a try. Wish me luck 🙂
