Sad - I just got my period

I had a miscarriage a few months ago and my DH and I were really gutted. Both of us thought that we would get pregnant quickly again, particularly as we were told people were more fertile post miscarriage. Now I just discovered my 3rd period following the miscarriage, even though we had loads and loads of sex and at the right time. I've got a little girl, so I know I should count my blessings. But instead I'm just gutted.

abbeville - I could have written your posts - am in exactly the same boat. Mc 3 months ago after 6 months of trying, and have DD. Was really, really gutted this month when AF arrived - I don't know why but I've just lost hope now. Going to see GP on Monday - don't really think they'll be able to do anything but just want to check in case. I just want to be pregnant!!!

Fawkeoff - I didn't tell anyone either (apart from DP obviously) have since told a couple of friends but not family and also feel as though I had no support - but don't really want to tell people now.

Hi Lulumama! It's nice to "see" you. Guess what? BFP this morning, six months to the day since my MC. So ladies, do not give up hope. Three months ttc after MC is nothing. Try to relax (easier said than done). And I know how hard it is to hear of other people's BFPs, even other people who have had MCs. I spent a long time feeling so, so of people who got BFPS when it was all I so desperately wanted.
