12dpo and frequent urination?

So today I am roughly 12dpo (my surge lasted for 3 days so just counting the day after the first peak). Last night I had to get up 5 times to wee. I normally do not get up at all or maybe once on a rare occasion of I have had a lot to drink before bed. I also usually have some spotting by now before my periods start and nothing so far. Could frequent urination be a symptom this early if I was pregnant? Done an IC this morning as it was all I had and was neg...but to be honest I have been weeing all night so couldn't save it very long ha!

I only got frequent urination late on in pregnancy, at 9 months pregnant I was only getting up twice a night. I don't recall needing to wee being a thing until 6/7months when your bladder is being squashed. Probably more likely to be cystitis if you've been having lots of sex trying.

Do a test today. At 12 DPO you should see a positive if you're pregnant.

I wouldn't read too much into it to be honest.

I'm 6 months and am only getting up once a night - same as before I was pregnant! You must be knackered though - getting up that much in the night must led to a very broken nights sleep!

Yeah it could be...it was for me! Good luck!

Could be... I only started to need to urinate more frequently when I turned 22 weeks, two weeks ago.

Getting up in the night to pee was the first sign for me. I was worried I had a UTI because I'd never needed to get up in the night, and then I realised I could be pregnant. It may sound ridiculous but it started at about 7dpo. I didn't get my BFP until about a week later.

Yes, I remember before I even tested, two days before I was peeing every 30 mins to an hour during the day. I was at work and really noticed it (although at the time I didn't know it was a sign of pregnancy). I remember it vividly as I thought people at work would notice me going to the loo so much, and I kept thinking 'what the hell is going on?'. Two days later, I tested positive!
