When can I start trying after a chemical pregnancy?

Hey, I had a chemical pregnancy earlier this week. I was just wondering how long to wait before my body is ready to start trying again? If I wanted to start again straight after will this increases chances of it happening again?

Sorry about your chemical pregnancy. I had one in March 2019. I didn't wait to try again and I conceived my son without a period in between. He is now a healthy 5 month old.

Hey, I had one back in February. My last 3 periods have only been 24 hours long and more like spotting. I haven't had any symptoms of ovulation Since the chemical pregnancy. Normally have loads of very strong symptoms.
I have read many stories of people conceiving the month after a chemical pregnancy so I would say just keep going.

You can try again straight away but I will say after I had the chemical pregnancy in January I failed to conceive in February and March following this so the theory of more fertile following this did not ring true with me.

Your next cycle

Was your period late? I think most chemical pregnancies your period still comes at normal time so your cycles shouldn't be affected and you can crack on.

@saylor I'm not sure, I haven't had a period since November 2018. I had my daughter and then was breastfeeding without a period. I stopped to start ovulating again sooner and caught my first egg.
