@Sunshinelove8 you don't have to see a GP anymore. Here you refer to the local midwifery tesm.

OP I'm not sure about those tests. When I was pregnant I got a positive on the internet strip and then waited a while to do a digital. I am shocked at those Sainsbury's tests - what a load of crap! They shouldn't be allowed to sell them - unless your sister is pregnant!

Those purple lines are very very clear.

What do people see on this one? I’m so worried as what if midwives say I’m not? I’ve had so many faint positives but none are getting darker

Personally I'd ignore the Sainsbury's tests because of the lines that came up on your sisters tests. It might just be worth waiting a few more days and getting better tests.

My gut feeling, and I really want to be wrong, is that this may not end in good news. It's the lack of line progression that's making me cautious. After 7 days I'd expect strong clear positives but having said that some people do have slower HCG increases and then go on to have a perfectly healthy pregnancy.

I definitely believe you are currently pregnant.

Good luck - I do see the line on your most recent picture.

Hi , my gps and other ladies always test , I’m not sure if something has changed since the virus or related to where you live . You definitely need a blood test , poas is only going to make you more and more anxious. Fingers crossed x Keep us updated hun xxx

I think it will differ depending on where you are. I'm in London and had my baby nearly 2 years ago and didn't need a blood test. It was self referral to my local maternity unit. When I self referred I wasn't tested. I didn't self refer until I was getting very obvious positives so I'd wait for that.

Hi Phoebelouise , I’m really sorry 🙁 it must have been a chemical . I’ve had them myself . It does show you can get pregnant, which is how I always view them but it’s still so hard to have had hope built up and taking tests every day with anxiety . Lots of hugs xx

Sunshinelove8 · 01/06/2020 08:17

Hi Kirinm , no you don’t get gp blood tests as standard , I meant if you ask the gp because you’re concerned about hcg etc mine have always tested and other ladies on here . I’ve gone straight to midwife ( just self referred when pregnant b4) but with chemical / mmc I have done a mixture of gp and private blood tests ( private as quicker when I didn’t want to wait for GP ) x

When I phoned the Drs up when i found out I was Pregnant last year they just told me to self refer to the midwife. Pretty scary actually when I'd had 3 previous miscarriages ranging from 4-6 weeks. Even when I asked for blood tests to check my HCG levels I was told no. I was ended up miscarrying again at 9 weeks thankfully I was able to see Baby well a little blob this time on an early scan due to a kidney infection although I wasn't offered the scan pictures. I do think it's pretty shit that most women are just expected to wait until 10-14 weeks before their first midwife appointment. I would've gone into the first scan thinking I was 3 months and past the danger zone when in reality I'd have had a dead baby inside me for 3-4 weeks

Sunshinelove8 · 01/06/2020 19:46

I’m sorry to hear this hun . I think it really depends on your GP It seems! Mine is quite nice . I found out about mmc through private scans , my mmc at 12 weeks I had seen heartbeat at 9 weeks and was gone by 12 weeks . It’s so awful thinking you were thinking it was alive when it wasn’t . If I get pregnant again I will have regular private scans so I know what’s going on . I guess the nhs don’t have the staff/ money etc to do this level of monitoring x
