Can you test negative on OPK and be pregnant?

AF is late, I've tried one pg test and it was negative.. didn't want to waste another so I thought I would use an opk as last time I was pregnant this tested positive. I had read something about using them as pregnancy tests if you didn't have one.

Has anyone had a negative opk and been pregnant? I feel a bit dizzy but no other symptoms so don't want to waste another pg test but at the same time want to rule it out...

Me! I had faint line on FRER and the next morning I was desperate to test but didn't have any left - so I used a OPK and it was negative! I bought some more FRERs that day and got another faint line!

I'm nearly 24 weeks now!

I'm really conscious of raising people's hopes on this board - this is just my experience!

Still no AF but no real symptoms and very heady dizzy

Might try the other test but seems like such a waste if money when already had a negative hpt and opk

I didn't get a positive opk when I got my first bfp, I did one about a week after I found out I was pregnant out of curiosity and there were 2 lines but I wouldn't even say it was a positive opk 🤷🏼‍♀️
