Can you ovulate after missed period?

I'm cd 31
Normally 26 day cycles. I've done a pregnancy test and it's negative but I am getting EWCM

Could I be ovulating this late in a cycle. Normally I do on day 14

Alternatively could I just be starting a new cycle without a period

I'm 40 plus so could be start of menopause I suppose Confused

This happened to me this cycle, thought I had ovulated but ending up ovulating 2 weeks later. Best way is to track BBT and use OPKs.
