Hey, guys. So, I’m CD14 today and I just got a positive OPK on the Femometer cheap ovulation strips, and it was confirmed with a smiley face on the Clearblue digital. TMI.. I definitely have that egg white discharge, and there’s quite a lot of it. I’ve been unintentionally using the SMEP plan, and now we plan on doing the deed tonight and for the next two days. What do you guys think? I just got my positive OPKs less than half an hour ago. The line was SO dark. Just yesterday the OPK was really negative! I was surprised. Usually, I get my positive OPK on CD15, but this time it’s on day 14.
I had a miscarriage almost a year ago.. 11 months ago, and from then on we’ve been trying to conceive on and off. But obviously, it hasn’t happened just yet. I have my fingers crossed, I don’t want to lose hope. And as silly as I am, I haven’t regularly been taking folic acid. Can this affect conception? At the start of this month though, the day my period ended I started taking the Seven Seas Trying for a Baby pills. Hopefully they contain everything I need and will help! Does anyone else take these?
We are also going to be using Preseed over the next few days.

Hey 👋

I'm on CD 12 and due to ovulate around CD 14 but nothing has come up on my ovulation sticks yet (I usually start getting faint lines building up from around 2 days before)

First month TTC (#2) so not expecting to catch this month, but secretly hoping.

I only started taking folic acid today - in the form of pregnacare conception vitamins, and I've got DP taking the male version. Not taking it won't stop you from falling pregnant, it just helps the baby in its conception. But taking a multi vitamin is a good way to get your body ready for pregnancy. I took pregnacare for a month before falling pregnant with DC1 and continued with a pregnancy vitamin throughout.

There is a forum on here called June Bus which is for ladies who will be testing in June, lots of lovely people and support in there.

Good luck 🤞

@OnNaturesCourse on CD13 my line was super faint and I got a blank circle on the Clearblue ovulation test. On CD14 though, the line was blazing dark, wayyy darker than the control. And a fixed smiley face. And today on CD15, I have the most horrendous ovulation cramps on my left side. I couldn’t even stand properly!

Fingers crossed for you! How long did it take you to fall pregnant with your first child? Good luck to you too!

Definitely sounds like today has been the day for you then!

I came off my birth control at the end of December, had my first proper period in 11 years in the February and was pregnant by the March so I was pretty lucky the first time round

dreamerkr · 20/05/2020 22:53

Very lucky! And yeah, I guess today’s ovulation day. I wonder though if it’s happened or if it will happen tomorrow, idk. Most likely today? I’m still feeling the slight cramp on my left side, it was SO bad this morning though. And I have ewcm.. only a little today, I had more yesterday though. All this is so confusing!

Your LH surge usually happens up to 24 hours before you ovulate I believe, and the pains tend to be when it's happening 😊 so you'll be super fertile just now.

dreamerkr · 21/05/2020 00:04

Hopefully! Have you got your positive OPK yet?

Have just done tonights and it's high, at roughly a 14, but not at peak yet so I'm assuming it'll peak tomorrow.

dreamerkr · 21/05/2020 18:08

Yes, you should get your peak today. Did you check?

Only just.

Started at a 29 this morning, was 44 at lunch and 88 at 9 so just gone into the peak zone so I guess I'll ovulate overnight.
