To try for baby no. 2 now?

I really want a second child. My little one is coming up to 1. The more I think about it. The more I want a small age gap.

Would it be a terrible idea considering the current situation? We had been thinking about it prior to all of this kicking off. I'm not sure I want to change our plans. The time for us as a family feels perfect.

Our dd is 2.5, we were talking about ttc #2 in 2 or 3 years time, but I had such incredible longing in the past few months we've started straight away this month. Everything is perfect for us too :) Good luck! 🤞 :)

Hello! I've been wondering about this too. My little boy is only 5 months but like you I don't want a big age gap. We were very lucky and he was conceived during our first month of trying but I know it may not be like that again.
My husband and I feel like the virus is not going to vanish overnight and we want siblings close in age for our son so we're going to start TTC again this autumn. Everyone is different. Go with your gut! xxx

Two and I was running around after them I swiftly changed my mind! Give it some time and also your little deserves 1 on 1 attention from you, once you have another your time will be shared.

We are in the same boat! Our DD is 1 in June and we have always wanted to start TTC baby number two from then!
Coronavirus does make things more tricky, but at the same time this is something we are going to be living with for a substantial period of time and I don't want to put my life on hold entirely. We're going to have to find a new way of living with this virus and that's not going to happen over night!
I think you have to do what feels right for you in your gut. For us, every day I get more and more certain that I'm ready to start trying again!
