Can heartburn be an early pregnancy symptom?

I have knowing heartburn from the front of my ribs radiating to the back. It kept me awake all night. I can’t test until tomorrow. Could that be a symptom? Has anyone had anything similar?

Sorry, that should say “knawing” not “knowing”.

Heartburn was my first clue. I had heartburn constantly for 3 days and I got my bfp last week!

Thanks @Lottie3093 that’s v interesting. I hadn’t heard of it as an early pregnancy symptom but it continues this morning and is driving my crazy. I’m actually very unlikely to be pregnant but this combined with sore boobs is making me wonder.

How you getting on? I'm 9dpo today and have heartburn?! Nothing else though although I had a temp dip yest. X

@AnxiousAnnie86 my heart burn has resolved but I did take a test yesterday and got a very ambiguous result (two lines but only after 10 mins and the positive line was not quite right looking). Not sure what to think. I’ve never had heartburn like that before.

Heartburn was also my first symptom, about a week before my period was due. That... and constant burping 😳 I never get heartburn and rarely burp!!
