How long can a faint bfp be faint?

3 weeks.... 3 weeks of faint bfps on ebay 10miu tests. I don't have alot of money right now.... What with everything that's going on so I really can't afford to go buying expensive tests. But I've used these ones for a while now and the last time I had faint bfps they got a bit darker then went straight back down and I started bleeding so doctor said early miscarriage. But this time the tests aren't going negative. Every morning there's a faint pink line. Not even a squinter. I've tried at various times of the day and first morning is darkest so I know it's not a bad batch because they're clearly picking something up. Another chemical? Slow rising hcg? I have pcos... Would that make this happen? I really need advice here... I don't know what to think. I feel pregnant... I have had symptoms for a couple of weeks. Very tired all day, needing to wee suddenly and having to run to the toilet before I wet myself lol sore boobs and very sore back. Veins... All over my chest and nipples. Please help Sad

Hi sorry didn’t want to read and run, how many dpo are you?

Have you tried to get back in touch with ur GP to see what they say?

Amipreggs09 · 18/05/2020 12:30

I have absolutely no idea what dpo I am, I never know when I ovulate because of pcos. Faint bfp on the 29th April, maybe got a teeny weeny bit darker since then but not the blaring positive I was expecting. For over a week I've been waiting for bleeding to happen so I know what's happening. But I'm in limbo. I don't know if I can take this as I'm pregnant or not Sad

Bump. Anyone have any idea if tests can stay faint and it's fine? Or does it mean something bad?

Can you post a photo of the lined up in date order?

I think it would probably suggest a mmc, meaning that you have conceived but the baby hasn't developed and your body hasn't recognised this and released the tissue.

I would call up the dr, explain the situation and ask for a hcg blood test. This will either confirm the pregnancy or not, if it gives you a positive result ask for it to repeated in 48 - 72 hours. This will then tell you if the pregnancy is progressing

I don't know how to upload a picture, there doesn't seem to be an option to add one

Are you new?.

Amipreggs09 · 18/05/2020 20:37

I am yes I just came in to find some advice from other women who have maybe had similar situations. Can I not post pictures if I'm new?

I would contact your GP, explain your situation and ask if you can come in to do a pregnancy test at the surgery? They might even offer a blood test.

I think you have to wait 48-72 hours to post photos

Call your gp?
