When are the best days to dtd?

I got a positive opk on weds. We done the deed that day and also 2 days before the positive test. However, due to work we couldn't dtd the day after the pos test and I know this is when I probably ovulated. I have heard people say the days before ovulation give you a better chance?

Just do it when you feel like it and maybe on the odd occasion when you feel indifferent to it, and relax.

I heard two days before ovulation is the best for conception, the sperm is there ready and waiting by the time the egg is released. I just got my bfp and it worked for us. Dtd night before static smiley.
