41 over weight and pregnant

Hi I am 41 years old classed as obese at 5ft 1 and 12.5 stone currently 10 weeks pregnant I am just so worried about the whole aspect of it from any health problems with myself that I dont no about biggest fear cancer to all the things you read about that could go wrong with baby ie downs etc I have a scan in june which has made me anxious as worried will they find heart beat etc none knows I'm pregnant as I was pregnant in 2018 and miscarried Christmas day at 8 weeks so dont wanna make same mistake of everyone knowing and something bad happens as it killed me last time just want to know if theres any other women out there in same predicament with age and weight etc need support

I had a mc and no one tells you how badly an mc messes with your next pregnancy. In fact it stressed me out for my next two pregnancies.

I know the stats are scary but they still represent the minority of cases. I'm your height and your weight isn't that big, you can't be too far off the overweight category.

I know it's hard and the next few weeks will be a bumpy journey but as much as you can try to relax. Try and keep your head from going to the scary place (which is hard when you're hormonal!) good luck xx

Aww thankyou I'm slightly feeling ok in pregnancy at mo like dont feel like anything bad gonna happen miscarriage but am worried if there will be a heartbeat I'm quite a bad worrier and they do class me as obese as I am meant to be like 7.7 stone for my height n build even though I'd look I'll I think once I have the scan I will relax for a bit till the next lot of worry creep up I am worried about the daily injections I will have to do till like 6 months after the birth to stop clots etc hate needles wimp I know will be glad when I can tell certain members of family especially my kids my daughter will be thrilled
