Hi ladies,

We’ve been TTC for about 6 months now with no luck, this month I decided to start tracking my BBT and realised that I ovulate earlier than expected.
My periods are irregular since having my coil removed in October but are slowly returning to ‘normal’
I started my OPKs and received a peak result on the 30th April along with EWCM.
However my BBT said I ovulated on the 3rd of May (even though my OPK was negative?!)
On the 13th of May I again got a high OPK?! So confusing?!

I’ve been getting so many ‘pregnancy symptoms’ such as backache, really sore boobs, metallic/bitter taste in mouth, nausea, heartburn, dizzy, really sore dry lips?! Etc etc...

This morning I took a pregnancy test and it showed up with a very very very faint line.
It’s the Femometer brand.
Does this look like a positive? I swear I can see a really faint line but my OH isn’t convinced!

Am I best to wait a few more days?
My app said AF should arrive on Monday but with my periods being so irregular I’m not convinced... sorry for the long post!!

Any advice would be appreciated!! xx

Congratulations @Soozbuck! My digitals are arriving today but I think I might wait a couple of days to take it.. I'm on a couple of Jan 2021 babies threads if you want me to tag you on one?? When will your due date be? Xx

Pol96 · 18/05/2020 08:32

Thank you @Lauloo123! I think I might be able to a v v faint shadow of something on your test but 7dpo is very early so maybe test again in a couple of days to see if it's clearer? X

Soozbuck · 18/05/2020 08:57

@Pol96 oooh let me know lovely!!!
Oh yes please! (I'm still trying to get used to Mumsnet 🙈😂)
My Femometer app says January 23rd? I'm not sure to be honest! When would yours be?
I've contacted the doctors this morning and I've gotta go and pick up a midwife pack! So nervous but so excited! xx

Mine would be 21st Jan! So we're super close! I might get my oh to call the doctors to see how I register without being able to go in to the building.. X

@Soozbuck thanks! Has it sunk in yet for you?? Xx

Soozbuck · 19/05/2020 09:55

@Pol96 not at all!
I kept going back to look at the test yesterday 😂
Are you having any symptoms?
Did you manage to get hold of the doctors? Xx

OP posts:
Pol96 · 19/05/2020 10:04

@Soozbuck not really, I thought I'd have more.. 😅
Had a bit of a dodgy tummy yesterday, but after googling found that that's really common. Occasionally feel a little bit nauseous and am tired because I can not sleep at night. How about you?
Yes, I registered yesterday and need to call back today to get referred to the midwife team.. Think that'll make it sink in a bit more.. Xx

Soozbuck · 19/05/2020 10:11

Ahh good, glad you got that sorted! ☺️
Yeah it's weird isn't it haha, when I picked up my pack I was abit like erm am I even pregnant😂 I filled the forms out and then went to check my test again 🙈😂

I've had slight backache which was over the weekend but that's eased off now. Yeah I'm just tired until I go bed then I toss and turn for ages!

I had to tell my work today, I work in a school and obviously the aim is to be back in June due to covid but the guidance says pregnant women should work from home.
Hate the fact that I've had to tell them really early but suppose it's for the best! Xx

Pol96 · 19/05/2020 10:17

@Soozbuck I get quite anxious about calling people so got my oh to do it.. He's calling again for my referral too 😅
I know what you mean about work.. I work in a preschool! I'm holding off telling them atm incase we don't open (think I saw that R was rising again)
The sleep thing seems to be very common, so tired in the day, not able to sleep at night. Xx
