There’s NO way I could be pregnant, is there?!

Hi all. This post may seem really silly and stupid, but bear with...

So, DP and I DTD around two weeks ago. We used a condom and were interrupted by our toddler crying, so DP didn’t ‘finish’. This is a little TMI, but I thought it pertinent to mention... DP touched himself and then touched me. His penis briefly touched my vagina, but there was no unprotected penetration (unless you count his fingers).

So, an extremely remote chance of pregnancy, right? But....

My period was due yesterday and still hasn’t arrived I have also been getting some symptoms, mainly tiredness, mild nausea and itchy breasts. However, I know these are all PMS symptoms too.

I’m not one to usually put much stock into ‘feelings’, but I’ve also got a really strong feeling that I AM pregnant. Last time I felt this strongly about it, I WAS pregnant. I have ordered a test online but it won’t be here until tomorrow.

This lockdown is getting to me and I’m going mad, aren’t I? I mean, there is NO way I could be pregnant, is there? I feel like a crazy woman.

Reading this back I realise how dumb I sound, but I can’t shake this feeling!

it is possible but not likely. I had that very strong feeling and convinced myself I was pregnant once, but I was actually wrong so try not to focus too much on that. Hope you get the result you want

There isn’t no way you could be pregnant but I would say it was extremely unlikely. When DH touches you, did he have sperm on his hands?

I would say it's one in a million chance you are pregnant. I have been in your situation a few times. It always ended in a late period, which was probably made later than it should have been because I was panicking over the thought of being pregnant

I would say it’s even less likely if he didn’t have anything on his hands. Take a test tomorrow to check but it might be that you ovulated later and your period isn’t late at all.

I convince myself I am pregnant at least once a tear despite having a coil and taking the pill too. I am always wrong but once the thought is there it is there.

We’ve all been there. I had a few fraught weeks thinking I was pregnant after a pull out method failure. When we started actively TTC, it took over a year to get my positive. Seems I needn’t have worried so much that time.

I highly doubt it. I will be checking back tomorrow though .

It’s worth testing just to put your mind at ease. It’s unlikely you’re pregnant but no harm in checking.

It would be a miracle if you were! We are ttc at the moment and had full on sex for 10 days last month and still negative

BFN today. No great shock there! Still no sign of AF though...

What kind of test did you take?

I was taught age 12 that contact with sperm on fingers and then into the vagina can lead to pregnancy. Obviously.

There is very much a chance you could be pregnant.

Yeah, they look very negative to me. It could be that you ovulated later than normal so your period isn’t late at all. If AF doesn’t appear within a week, maybe test again but I would relax for now.

Ye that looks like a solid negative to me. If you were pregnant and your period was due by now, there would be some hint of a positive line. I expect your period will arrive in the next few days.
