Hi,
New on here! I have 2 children from a previous relationship and currently on cycle number 3 of TTC.
Pretty sure I'm 1dpo today, cycles are usually around 31 days. AF due on the 24th! Anyone else around the same dpo and want to chat?

@jessiemay2020 did you manage to get a car? I’m 7dpo too and feeling really emotional today not sure why Confused I was really tired yesterday that I even took a nap for an hr which I never do. Think I’m just trying to find symptoms sometimes, that anything I notice I’m like yeah that could be. Think if I was still busy I probably wouldn’t think twice at some of the symptoms.

@Kangaroo77 I feel so guilty that I moan about the length of time it’s taking to get pregnant and how I’m feeling, but really that’s nothing compared to what you’ve been through. How are you feeling?

@jessiemay2020 hope you got a car sorted! I'm feeling quite relaxed this month, definitely have "symptoms" but I know not to get my hopes up. Your symptoms sound promising, got everything crossed for you!

@kangaroo77 I know what you mean, I think that might be why I'm feeling a bit more relaxed because if I do get a bfp then it'll be filled with anxiety after my ectopic.. so the longer I go without knowing the better. It's such a mentally draining time isn't it! Sad

@suki2020 no, we are viewing one today again in the hope it'll be OK. We've decided to go for a family car thing for him, just incase we happen to fall pregnant in the near future. I have a megane sport tourer which is perfect for me and the kids right now but he's getting desperate for another car so hoping this one today will be good and perfect. It's 7 seats so will be plenty big enough!
I have to say I've been quite emotional too the last couple of days, Friday I wanted to rip other half's head off just for the sake of it. Then yesterday I wanted to rip off my exs head because he wasn't willing to help me having the kids an extra night so we can go car hunting. He's so selfish and barely sees them as it is. My youngest is already wanting to call my current partner dad. She's forgetting who her real dad is. But we had a huge argument and normally I'd stay calm but I really wanted to kill him 😂
Yes I know you kind of connect any kind of symptom to pregnancy and it can really seem like it's possible and then it ends up being AF related. I hope that isn't the case for any of us though and I really hope we all have a wave of good luck this month!

@whambam89 yes exactly! Double edged sword but hopefully with a happy outcome in the long run 👶🏼.

@Suki2020 I'm fine now actually, it knocked me sideways a couple of months ago but it's actually my second termination for chromosome issues (first baby had T13 in 2012). I've kind of accepted its part of my journey. I do worry about it happening again but I'm hopeful we'll get there eventually. Don't feel bad about your journey, it's your reality and it must be really tough not getting pregnant quickly. My 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 are crossed for you xxx

@Jessiemay2020 I've completely missed the car thing sorry! Ugh I hear you on the snappiness at partner, I've been same. I also get the ex partner thing. I am constantly getting annoyed at my ex (mostly in my head 😂). He's always 'disneying', showering the girls with presents and extravagant outings. It always feels I'm in competition with him 🙄. Hope you have a better day today 👏🏻

@kangaroo77 ahh bless you, that's exactly like me. He hadn't seem them in 3 months but was sending stuff to the house for them constantly and I just thought, why are you trying to buy them!? I kind of understood the not seeing for a while due to covid, but not to ring or text about them was really irritating me. I ended up ringing him and explaining they don't even know who he is anymore and he needs to make more of an effort. Luckily my partner, who is my brothers best friend 🙄😂 is amazing with the kids and they've always had such an amazing relationship. I think because they've had time in the past when he was just a family friend they already had a good foundation to start a relationship. Since we have been together he has done more with the kids than their dad has and it hasn't cost a penny! I keep reminding myself my children won't be young forever and they'll see for themselves exactly what their dad is like, of course I don't want them hurt but at the same time I cannot wait for that day!

Yes it's horrible living in that 'one day' mentality but it's also so true! Plus I know my ex and his gf are trying for a baby too. I always feel like he outdoes me and I'm just hoping they don't announce a pregnancy first. Terrible is it. 🤦🏻‍♀️😬

Hi ladies can I jump in here? We're all around the same place in our cycle today I'm 6/7 dpo as I got a positive both days!

This will be month 18 for us, no real symptoms other than my nipple's starting to hurt. Hope everyone's ok this morning x

Yes I’ve heard of implantation dip so that could be why ur temp dropped. I also googled the implantation temp rise and that’s promising also for pregnancy. I’ve also cramps, runny nose feeling slightly sick but again I got all those symptoms with af— apart from the runny nose and sneezing I remember getting that when I was last pregnant

@kangaroo77 yes sounds similar here, having said that my exs new partner doesn't want children but I'd imagine that would change.
I've started getting period pains and felt a bit wet in my knickers when we were viewing this car, I reckon AF is on its way 😭😭 no period yet but I can definitely feel it!
When I had my coil I'd only get period pains the day before and on the day of AF but last month I had them on and off for a few days before and I have a feeling this is the same as last month. Still getting the odd twinge on left side but that could be either! Could be the egg travelling down for AF or it could be implantation. Driving myself nuts here girls 😭

@mrsLA88 hi! It's nice to have someone else to experience this with, good or not so good out comes! It's so stressful and exciting. A big snow ball of emotions combined I guess!

Jessiemay I can't tag you but I definitely need people to share with! It's been so long now and my husband is amazing but still I need other support too. I hope AF isn't on her way to you ❤️ how many dpo are you?

Jessiemay2020 · 17/05/2020 15:34

@mrsLA88 yes I can imagine, the men are often very supportive but at the same they don't really feel what we do! I was trying for 2 and a half years for my daughter, I have to say when we stopped trying and gave up, I caught that month! It's so hard not to do that. I'm on 7dpo today. I keep thinking it'll be anytime now implantation can occur but it could be either, it's like a seesaw, pregnancy one side and AF the other and it's level straight across!

That's such a long time how did you cope? I've had all the tests done and they came back ok, the drs wouldn't test my husband so we did a sperm count and mobility home test and both came out positive so we have no idea what's going wrong! And like you say the symptoms are the same so each month I build it up and get let down each time ☹️

Jessiemay2020 · 17/05/2020 16:57

@mrsLA88 it was a long time, we actually split up towards the end too it got too much. Then we decided to get back together on the terms that we didn't try anymore and it happened pretty much straight the way. I do believe it's about less trying but it's soooo hard! It can be really painful but it will happen, if things have come back OK then it will happen eventually. It's just a horrid horrid experience, until it happens of course

Morning. Same here @MrsLA88 I've had definite twinges and cramps since yesterday and my boobs are starting to hurt a little. I woke up feeling pregnant. I'm 8dpo. We will see! How's everyone else?

Morning ladies! Hope you are all well! I've had twinges, period pains but also yesterday for not even a minute had what I can only describe shooting pains straight up the middle of my tummy, just above the pubic bone. Pretty sure I don't get that with AF due but could be anything I guess 🤔

Morning ladies, it all sounds promising for you. I’ve felt nauseous on and off yesterday and food just didn’t go down well. I had a good temp spike this morning which I was happy about, not sure if it actually means anything though but it’s been a slow rise.
