Hi, I know there are lots of these threads, but thought I would start a new one for anyone new to mumsnet (like me) and doesn’t know which thread to try and join.

I’m 28 years old and I’m on cycle 6. I’m now 6 DPO.

Please anyone feel free to join; it’s nice to have others to go through it with.

I took this this afternoon wasn't expecting anything at all! My partner bought them for me and gave in to temptation. Will buy a frer first thing tomorrow. I used the other test I had and that was positive too. But worried as I've had cramping since ovulation and hasn't stopped. Never had that before 🤞

I've had cramping since ovulation too... The cramping has got a bit worse today and I've just felt fatigued, nauseous & had achey boobs. I'm toryign so so so hard not to overthink it... I'm only 7dpo so way too soon to think about testing.

Literally no symptoms for me (apart from bigger/sore boobs but that’s normal a week before AF for me). In a way it’s a good thing so I don’t get carried away with myself! Only 7DPO and AF is due Saturday/Sunday, keeping my fingers crossed x

@Nat4392 same here! I’m 7dpo, but I’m having no symptoms which makes me worried. AF due between Sun/Mon. Trying to remain hopeful x

Hi all! Been TTC since October. Had an early miscarriage early March. I'm only 3dpo today.

We've been using preseed this month. My last BFP came after using this so 🤞

Hi @KSI88 sorry to hear of your miscarriage. I hope this is your lucky cycle! I’ve only heard of conceive plus, is preeseed the same idea?

@Rhall26 Thanks lovely. Yes it's pretty much the same idea. Lots of good reviews online too. We also bought a Fertilily conception cup but I wasn't too keen on using it 🙈

27, cycle 3, 7 dpo. No symptoms. Disapointed as I'm sure I'm not pregnant but I guess you never know. Try to tell myself it's early days but so many people around me are pregnant and all seem to have fell really quickly too!

@KSI88 I bought one of those too, but couldn’t bring myself to use it 😂

@Lovebug06 same here with the no symptoms. My OH keeps saying to think positively, but it’s difficult when everyone around you seems to get pregnant quickly. We won’t know for sure till AF arrives (or hopefully doesn’t!)

@Rhall26 if this isn't my month I think I'll give in and use it 😁 Will try anything to get our little one. When do you plan on testing?

@KSI88 me too. I’ve read about the SMEP too which I might try, but it’s similar to what we did this month. It’s bizarre/frustrating the things we have to try to get our baby - some people make it sound so natural and easy.

I’m going to try not to early test this month; instead, waiting to be late which would be Tuesday 19th May (but I’ll probably cave). What about you?

Still no period for me this morning. Can't test though as I was woken up by my daughter in the middle of the night, and so had a wee while I was up :( I believe I'm officially late now though

@BatmanBaby If you're late I would think it would be okay to test now? Fingers crossed for you 🤞

Thanks @KSI88 so scared I'll get a BFN though...going to try and hold on until tomorrow and use FMU. Still no sign of my period and none of my usal pms...but don't want to get my hopes up :(

@Rhall26 We did similar to SMEP this month too actually. It was so easy with our first child 6 years ago. First attempt and I got my BFP! You start to over-analyse things when it doesn't happen quickly! I'm 32 this year so I'm not old and more and more women are having babies into their 40's now. I do know that when I do get to hold my baby in my arms I'll never take that little bundle for granted...

@KSI88 I'm 32, it's silly but sometimes I get worried I'm not fertile enough anymore, even though I know I'm not actually that old!

@BatmanBaby I know how you feel and I don't blame you for wanting to wait until tomorrow now. Although I wish I had your willpower 😁

Does anyone else use Ovia and absolutely hate it when it tells you your symptoms are completely normal for the time in your cycle?!?

@bumphope2020 Yes! Been using it for the past few months now. I usually just log my symptoms/ovulation etc and ignore the other bits 😁

@batmanbaby you should get a bfp even without fmu if you're officially late now - good luck!

thanks @whambam89 just worried it'll be a bfn as I was super convinced I was likely pregnant last month (was obviously wrong!). Going to try and leave it a few days in case I'm just late :/
