Faint postive 11 dpo - scared of third CP...

Hi everyone,
As it says above really, I got a faint positive today on FRER (a real squinter) whereas with my first CP in January, I had a much stronger line at 10 dpo whilst the third CP was a very faint line the day my period was due. I'm just so scared and fretting so much. Does anyone have any positive stories they can share?
Thank you!

Sorry you are scared, did you do this first thing and was it concentrated urine?
11dpo is still fairly early, perhaps you even ovulated later than what you thought? How did you confirm ovulation? I’m sorry I haven’t got any positive stories but I can relate, I had a MC in December followed by 2 chemicals. 1 month off last month to try and give my body a rest and now I’m 11dpo today approx I don’t track. My test won’t arrive till tonight so I’ll probably (not) wait until tomorrow am.

The waiting is so hard, if you can try and leave it 48 hours before you do another one to give hcg a chance to increase

Hi @Upsydaisyy thank you so much for replying. I'm so sorry to hear about your losses, this baby making business can be so cruel sometimes. I'm only month 4 in and I do really feel like I'm losing my marbles with it. Especially with lockdown as it just focuses your attention so much.

Yes it was first thing this morning. I use Clearblue advanced digi tests and got a static smiley on 23rd April so assuming I O'd on 24th, I would be 11 dpo today.

I really hope the rest has given your body what it needs for this to be your month. Have my fingers crossed for you! Have you been to the docs following your second CP? I had an appointment after my second but it got cancelled because of Covid so have not been able to get answers. How far along were you with your miscarriage?

Wishing you all the best x

Totally agree it’s very consuming. I have a DD who is 3 and she was conceived totally fine. I was 8 weeks with my MC which was pretty horrific.

I took a test just now, I couldn’t wait till morning and it was an extremely faint line like have to hold it in the right light type thing! More coming tomorrow so I need to try and wait until Thursday morning. They burn a hole in my pocket though that’s the problem haha

Let’s hope it’s just a little too early for us and we’ll get those nice dark lines in a few days

GreenwichTTC1 · 05/05/2020 23:24

I’m so sorry, I can’t imagine how hard that must have been for you. Life really is shit sometimes.

That’s good with the test! I’m starting to feel less and less hopeful now but will see what tomorrow brings. I really just don’t know how I will cope with CP 3.

Keeping everything crossed for dark lines for us!

I am having pregnancy symptoms and I so I decided I was going to test tomorrow morning but then of course , flooded with emotions, I decided to rush and take one tonight too... there is a super faint positive. I’m going to retake it in the morning but can anyone else see it? Or has anyone else had similar experiences?

Looks positive to me @Swimfreak60256

Unfortunately, it looks like I am heading for my third CP. I don’t really know where to turn now. Feeling very lost and heartbroken.

I hope you have had better luck @Upsydaisyy Flowers

@greenwichttc1 sorry to hear that. Have you taken another test? Remember your still not out till AF arrives.

I haven’t tested again my tests arrived this afternoon so I’m going to wait until tomorrow morning

GreenwichTTC1 · 06/05/2020 13:31

Yep took another one this morning and still very faint, no line progression. No sign of AF showing up yet and I usually spot before but I just know the same thing is happening again, although still feel quite pregnant. Keeping my fingers crossed for you! X

Hello. First, good luck, I really hope you get your positive test.
I didn't follow my own advice but I think you will drive yourself mad testing so early - so much is variable that early on, it's hard to read too much into the strength of the line. If you can, wait until af is due or a even a few days late if you can stand it...
I've had a few cps, a miscarriage at 10 weeks and 2 successful pregnancies now. I found no pattern to the strength of the line on the cps but I did find that my hormone levels didn't raise as quickly with the mc - I was using the cb tests that give you an indication how pregnant you are and it consistently tested a week or so behind....
Not sure if that helps atall - try to stay positive, you're only 4 months in, it will happen x

GreenwichTTC1 · 06/05/2020 17:12

@adag definitely driving myself crazy but it’s so hard! Especially being at home at the moment and the tests being there ready to use. Planning on using them all up this month and keeping just one for next month.

I’m so so sorry to hear about your losses too. It’s reassuring to hear you’ve had successful pregnancies.

Wishing you all the best x

Did af show or did you test anymore?

GreenwichTTC1 · 07/05/2020 10:32

Hi @mrssoapy she still hasn’t properly arrived but she’s definitely on her away. Another faint test again this morning. The positive news is I’ve managed to speak to the GP and I’ve been referred so hopefully I will get answers soon. Yesterday was a rough day but just trying to keep positive and busy with work today.

Glad that you’ve been referred @GreenwichTTC1 that’s a good start. I’ve had a good line on a frer this morning however I’ve started to get brown CM/spotting bits of red mixed in. This is exactly how my previous chemicals have started so not feeling hopeful now

Sigh!!!!!

GreenwichTTC1 · 07/05/2020 14:24

I’m sorry @Upsydaisyy it really is just so so rubbish and cruel. Fingers crossed it’s nothing for you and you get a stronger line soon. Keep me updated and here if you want to chat x

Hi @Upsydaisyy how did it go in the end? Update from me, I went through my third CP but managed to speak to the GP and had my referral with the consultant this morning (luckily I have private medical care through work). Got a scan on Thursday and just waiting to be booked in for the blood test as well. These tests are for an irregular womb (very rare) or a blood clotting disorder. So we will see.
