DPO and imagining symptoms - or not?!!

Ladies - hope you are all well!

For those of you like me who are DPO and in the waiting zone do you ever feel like you are imagining symptoms?

I've had definite tiredness over the weekend - to the extent I could've gone to bed early and had a nap through the day!

Today is DPO7 and I'm feeling like I could have mild cramping pain towards the pelvic area but then I question if I'm imagining it!!!

Feel like I'm going mad!!

How are you all feeling?

@LynzP85 hi, I'm now 13DPO and felt like I had 'symptoms' from 7DPO.

I had pains in the pelvic area too, like slight cramping for a few days, to begin with on one side and then all across. I also had spotting on 7DPO, and then this weekend I was so tired too to the point where I had to have a nap on Sunday.

Although I'm quite early on TTC, only on cycle 2, so I might have symptoms like this every month but have never really looked for them. Driving myself crazy 😂

How long have you been TTC? I think it's nice to know we're all in it together at least ☺️ x

Nat4392 · 05/05/2020 11:40

I do this every month!! It’s so frustrating as you think every little twinge is something. Every month I say I’ll ignore it and not symptom spot but I become a little obsessed once I hit 7DPO...

BMWL · 05/05/2020 13:41

I'm the exact same this month. Currently only 3DPO and have tender breasts and mild cramping but then don't know if I'm imagining it or not. The 2WW always seems so long x

tootiredtoclean · 05/05/2020 13:45

I could have wrote this. Feeling exactly the same. I don't think not being able to keep busy is helping. Woke up yesterday 7dpo with what felt like mild period pains and massive boobs.
I keep telling myself I'm not pregnant and wait for AF to arrive but it feels so far away.

Good luck 🤞

Bunny2006 · 05/05/2020 17:12

Yep, every month I keep checking my symptoms against previous months on Fertility Friend. Currently 10dpo, had tiredness past couple of days, tinges/cramps on and off most noticeably today and woke up today with sore boobs with feel larger. But I've noticed these things before and never been pregnant, trying to stay positive in that it's not far to wait to find out now whether this month is it!

Massively symptom spotting this month and really trying to not get carried away but I think I'm too far gone this cycle to be able to avoid heartbreak if it's a bfn 😩 af due on Thursday but as I only have a 10 day luteal phase I'm not sure it's worth trying to test any earlier.

Nat4392 · 05/05/2020 21:41

@sausageface I have a shorter luteal phase too so I never bother testing early, I just wait for AF nowadays. It beats the heartbreak of BFNs anyway...

LynzP85 · 06/05/2020 13:31

@Bunny2006 when are you due AF? Think your furthest ahead all of us!

Bunny2006 · 06/05/2020 17:04

@LynzP85 Hi, I'm due AF on Sunday. Had a temp drop today for some reason, hoping it's just a one off. My sleep pattern has been a bit rubbish since not working/working from home so perhaps temps aren't this accurate this month but we'll see!

tootiredtoclean · 06/05/2020 19:27

Has anyone had a more/new symptoms today? Mine seem to have settled and the spots have returned so guessing AF is on her way.

LynzP85 · 06/05/2020 22:50

Not much in the way of symptoms today so I’m assuming that it’s a BFN this month and I’m really trying not to think about testing early!

I got a positive with my December pregnancy on DPO10, and today is DPO8... AF due anytime from Saturday-Tuesday.

I've just had very very sore breasts and felt a bit of what I can only describe as pelvic fullness which I don't know if I get prior to AF.
I'm very good at symptom spotting when I'm TTC, but not when I'm just waiting for AF, so these could be normal but I've never noticed them before.
It's 9 days before I can test.. just going to try hold out till then. Longest 9 days!xx

LynzP85 · 07/05/2020 07:51

I meant to ask everyone yesterday - has anyone noticed changes in their CM?

I know it’s meant to ‘dry up’ prior to AF, however I noticed yesterday I had more, it appeared ‘thicker’ and was white in colour....🤷‍♀️ Watch this space!

OP posts:
Nat4392 · 07/05/2020 09:05

@LynzP85 I usually “dry up” a day or so before AF but last month I didn’t at all (which is why AF was even more disappointing) so now I’m not even going to take notice of CM in the TWW as a sign of anything!

LynzP85 · 07/05/2020 09:13

@Nat4392 annoyingly I’ve never tracked CM in this window so I’ve no clue what my normal is... but I will from now on.... curiosity and all that!

OP posts:
tootiredtoclean · 07/05/2020 14:39

@LynzP85 hope it's a positive sign. I read online that a yellowing to CM can be a sign. Although at the minute I think I'll take anything!

LynzP85 · 08/05/2020 08:14

Pretty sure I can feel AF coming! Just that niggly feeling! 😩

I caved and did a test... last month period came on CD 30 which is today.... app is say period due Tuesday.... so doesn't look like it's going to be a successful month for me 🧐

Fingers crossed for you @LynzP85. It's not too late yet.

I caved too! AF due Monday. I keep imagining lines where they don't exist

I took another photo of my test.... 🤷‍♀️

@LynzP85 that's got to be a BFP!!! Congratulations

BMWL · 08/05/2020 13:46

@LynzP85 I CAN SEE A LINE!!! Smile

DressingGownofDoom · 08/05/2020 14:07

Yeah I was going to say I can see a line on this morning photo? That's a definite bfp

DressingGownofDoom · 08/05/2020 14:08

@tootiredtoclean there might be a shadow of a line on yours too??

LynzP85 · 08/05/2020 15:04

@tootiredtoclean are you holding off until Sunday to re-test? Or waiting until you are late?

I have some minor cramping and yet again I could go for a nap!!
