TTC 2nd - when did your cycles regulate after 1st baby

Just as the title says - how long after your first baby did it take for your cycles to regulate?
I used to have 28 day cycles and ovulated on day 18. My luteal phase was a bit short although it did us no harm as we conceived very quickly and my son was born in December.
My periods came back after 6 weeks but since then they have only been 25 days long.
My husband and I were talking about TTC again towards the end of the year but I have a feeling if my cycles don't lengthen we could struggle. I'm already taking the vitamins and have lost the stone I put on (although I could do with losing a couple more which I'm on the case with!)
Did anyone else have short cycles after having a baby? Did yours lengthen? If so did you think you did anything in particular to
Help it along?
Thanks for taking the time to read 😃
