Period pains then pregnant

I am really curious to hear from anyone who was absolutely CONVINCED their period was coming and ended up pregnant. That's currently where I am -- three days of being SURE I was about to start any minute. I know you can't really be sure until a BFP or AF arrives, but I just want to know how common it is that you just feel exactly the same as always before AF

Yep. Had really bad cramps too. Kept running to the loo as I was convinced I’d started. Was totally convinced but here I am with my three year old! Had cramps before second baby too but not as bad as first.

@student26 thanks for sharing! That's really interesting. That's how I've been feeling for days... and I know it's symptom spotting and I really could just be late, but this is the first time I've been late enough to test in months and months. Not very late at all (2-3 days now) but I alllllways have my period before my apps say I will. So I never really have to check on the day-of. Going mad 🙃

Meeeee I had weird pains and when I wiped there was the tiniest bit of blood so assumed AF was on her wicked way and was super depressed (had been trying over a year) and just assumed that was that.. I actually went out and got drunk that night because I was just about ready to give up on it all.. period then never came and now have 4 year old twins asleep in the next room.

Didn't have it with DC3 at all, didn't find out I was pregnant until 10 weeks with him.

It's a bitch and so unfair that so many PG symptoms are similar to AF symptoms Thanks for you.

@SquirtleSquad ahhh that's crazy. Amazing! Feel like I'm losing my mind, test has been neg three days now and also feel like AF is gonna start every time I move lol

It's so frustrating. It took us 3 years to have DC3 and every month I remember feeling every tiny little twinge or change in my body and thinking it could be it. It's so tough. There's a lot of change and stress going on for people at the moment and stress levels can effect periods and hormones, give it some time and see what happens. Fingers crossed!!
