Hello Guys, I am all new to this but was looking for some advice. We have decided to try for our 2nd baby (my 1st is 8 tomorrow). My daughter had group b strep and meningitis when she was born it’s was awful. It was detected in pregnancy but no antibiotics given. I’ve since had a debrief at the hospital and have been give reassurance of a plan if we decided to try again. My daughter was extremely ill but thankfully has no lasting effects. Has anyone had any issues with a 2nd child. It’s taken such a long time for us both to be on the same page and wanting to try again. I’m filled with mixed emotions and wondered if anyone would have advice. My period was due today and not arrived 🤣 can’t even remember when you test etc. Xx
