Ubiquinol/CoQ10 after BFP

So I've been taking 200mg daily of Ubiquinol for the past 6 months along with Pregnacare Conception and other vitamins and supplements (iron, folic acid, vit D due to my medical history) I finally got my BFP after 15 cycles (trying not to get too excited as the odds for it sticking are still against me). But should I still continue with the Ubiquinol? If yes, for how long? Also, I guess I should switch over to normal Pregnacare, but I've just bought 2 packs of the conception care which seems a bit of a waste. Can just I continue with them? Are the differences that great seen as Im already on folic acid, iron and vit D? I'm vegetarian so I still need to take supplements with my diet.

I'm sure I read that you should stop taking Ubiquinol once pregnant, but don't quote me on it.

Huge congratulations btw! Keeping everything crossed for you that this one sticks 🤞🙂

I read to stop taking it.

I stopped taking it after BFP. Only needed it for 6 weeks. Remember they are to make your eggs better quality. Your egg is fertilised now.

Congrats on the BFP.

Hi @sabtom congratulations! I took ubiquinol before and during pregnancy, no complications and a very bright happy three year old now 😊 although it is supposed to help egg quality, it's also supposed to help energy release in all cells. Best of luck xx

Thank you ladies! I think to be on the safe side I'll stop the Ubiquinol. I spoke to the midwife yesterday and she said Im already taking the supplements I need anyway. Smile
