Me and DH DTD on day 30 of my cycle and the condom split 🤦🏻‍♀️
We have a DS who is nearly 3 so it wouldn't be the end of the world if we were pregnant but I'm just wondering what the chances are?
My cycles aren't regular usually anywhere between 30-38 days mostly 35 days.
I'm now on Day 35 of my cycle and no period yet....

Highly unlikely if your cycles are those lengths. There's always a chance you ovulate late but you on average ovulate 14 days before the end. Some people ovulate fewer days but it needs to be 9 or me to be viable usually

@Newmum26 my sister has a cycle length similar to yours and has PCOS , she managed to conceive without actively trying! So always possible.. depends when you ovulated?

Newmum26 · 28/04/2020 13:43

I'm not entirely sure when I ovulate as we hadn't been trying so I wasn't tracking etc.
So it's possible then...

@Newmum26 I would wait until after day 38, if af is still a no show take a test! Hope you get the outcome you want x

Newmum26 · 29/04/2020 22:02

Thank you for your replies. I've got a test coming tomorrow so at least I can test if still no period in a few days.
It took us a year to conceive our DS and we tracked and dtd when we thought was the most fertile time etc so it would just be so crazy if the one time we had an accident at this point of my cycle I got pregnant! But it happens I know!
X

@Newmum26 it does happen! Update us either way if you can 😊x

I took a digital Clearblue teat yesterday on Day 38 of my cycle and it said 'not pregnant' so I guess it's a waiting game. I'm not convinced as I've read they can be false negative if it's too early especially with the digital ones. Still no period 🤷🏻‍♀️ x

I would say highly unlikely if those are your cycle lengths but not impossible. To conceive ideally you would have had to have unprotected sex on days 18-24

N12345625 · 01/05/2020 21:48

There is always a chance!!

Pluto7724 · 07/05/2020 11:44

@Newmum26 how are you getting on?

MumOfAToddler26 · 08/05/2020 11:35

Hi AF arrived a week late 😣 Here's to another month 🤞🏻 Thanks for asking x
