Positive or evap???

Hi, I’m wondering if anyone could help me out. I was on the depo injection from sept 4th, that ran out dec 4th, I then went onto the combined pill until the end of Feb. I have not had a period since the ‘break week’ of the pill in Feb. Obviously the depo can can stop fertility for a lot longer than the actual dose suggests. But for around 2 weeks I’ve had every pregnancy symptom, super sore boobs, fatigue, headache, metallic taste, mild cramps, frequent urination, nausea, you name it, I’ve got it. I did a couple of tests 3 days ago, one deffo negative and one super faint positive or possible evap. The problem is, I don’t know when I may have ovulated or when I would be due on because of the contraception I was on before. However, symptoms are getting stronger so did a test around 12pm today and I’m sure it’s positive but in a bit of disbelief. So any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys

In the first picture, the line looks pink but in the second is looks grey.

Hmm... I’m really not sure. The two pictures you’ve added now definitely don’t look pink to me but the line is quite dark.

I don’t want to get your hopes up. Maybe try a FRER.

Yeah I’ve thought the same. In some lights it looks pink and some it’s grey but it’s quite a strong line for an evap isn’t it. And it did some up in the 3 minutes. Yes I’ve ordered some FRER, hopefully they’ll come today and I can test again first thing tomorrow.

Hopefully they’ll arrive soon.

Sorry to sound simple but was does evap mean in terms of these lines? I do see a slight line but I don't think I know enough about reading them to know for sure! Not yet taken a pregnancy test, only on second cycle!

An evap appears where the positive line should appear sometimes as the urine dries on the stick. They're usually greyish or colourless. Hence why I'm confused about my test😩 xx

Ah I see, I know it is very unhelpful but I assume the only way to see is to do another test?

Yeah, that's pretty much it. I've bought some early response tests so that's what I'm going to do first thing in the morning. Hopefully get a more clear result 🤞🏼 that test was done at lunch time so if I'm early on, maybe urine was too dilute 🤷🏽‍♀️

I would test again to make sure, i wouldn't go by that test.

How long after you did the test did you take those pictures?

Positive!

The first picture is 5 minutes the rest are 2+hours 🤔 the line came up in the time limit

If that’s an evap it’s a pretty dark one! I’d say a tentative congrats is in order 😁

That’s definitely positive , mine was a lot fainter than that And I’m now 20 weeks pregnant 💜

Morning all. I've done 2 tests this morning. BFN! I'm going out of my mind here. It's so frustrating!

Were they FRERs?

One was yeah. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Have you taken a picture of them?

I would try and leave it a few days now and, if AF doesn’t turn up, take another test.
