11 days late negative test but 100% certain I’m pregnant

Hi I’m 11 days late for my period and I’m always 28 days in my cycle dot on time every month, have been for 10 years. Well I have taken a few pregnancy tests which are either negative or have a severely faint line...

Has anyone ever been like 6+ weeks pregnant and found out via HCG blood test only It’s sending me crazy as I have cramps for the past 2 weeks on a daily basis and I have lower back ache aswell as a lot of CM like mucus plug type. I’m lost on what to think or believe 😒

Sorry to suggest, but could it be a chemical?

Jaydaebee · 24/04/2020 12:36

@Dinosauraddict no bloods have came back negative but It will be 6 weeks Since my last period started in a few days xxx

@Jaydaebee any update?

Jaydaebee · 29/04/2020 08:58

@paintfairy doctor is calling me back tomorrow because my HCG was apparently under 2mlu so tomorrow she is going to hopefully decide to send me for a scan as I’m now on CD44 and I am never late usually on time which I always have CD28’s maximum xxx

@Jaydaebee is the scan to see if you are pregnant? Or something else? I'm late this month too. Now on CD37. Mine are usually 26/27 days.

NicoleR14 · 29/04/2020 09:44

@Jaydaebee I am currently on CD64 I have regular periods always on time and never been late or missed one and haven't had one since feb I've had neg and pos tests and my gp won't even look at me would love to know how you get on x

Squashpocket · 29/04/2020 09:47

I once had a very late period (usually completely regular) because of an ovarian cyst. It caused pain and cramping. Period turned up after 3 weeks. Doctor said it was just a random occurrence and considered normal. I've had no problems since. Could it be something like that?

paintfairy · 29/04/2020 09:55

@NicoleR14 that's ridiculous! I dunno if they'd normally look but I know the corona thing isn't helpful.

I'm going to leave it a week. But if mine isn't here then I'll call the dr. See if I get anything useful from them.

Wanderer1 · 29/04/2020 10:03

Sometimes really regular periods can just skip one for no reason. Happened to me when I was TTC and it is a head screw! Annoyingly for me the hormone imbalance that was either causing or caused the skipped period also created symptoms very similar to pregnancy (or so I thought - when I actually fell pregnant I had zero symptoms till 8 weeks).
My doctors wouldn't even speak to me about missed periods until I'd missed two in a row. I think it's more common than you might think.

NicoleR14 · 29/04/2020 10:03

@paintfairy I haven't had af in 9 weeks I will be 5 weeks late this Friday and they won't even take a second glance at me all they keep telling me is I've only missed one and I'm late for the other and give it a few weeks to see what happens the Dr's I'm with aren't very good even before all this coronavirus and also because I'm 21 they don't really consider it serious which I do think is silly also hopefully your gp can shine some light on it for you!

paintfairy · 29/04/2020 10:09

@Wanderer1 I would assume its only possible for them to skip with no ovulation though? In which case I wouldn't have a temp increase?

Wanderer1 · 29/04/2020 10:13

I'd had the ovulation temp rise, but then it came down again when I should have come on. When I was actually pregnant it stayed high as expected. By comparison when I had a chemical my temperature just trailed slowly downwards back to normal (rather then the normal downwards step).
It is so hard playing cycle investigator with your own body, I've been there so many times. Temperature tracking is excellent for helping with this. I hope you get some answers soon xx

Jaydaebee · 29/04/2020 10:43

Doctor is doing ultrasound to see if I’m pregnant or if it’s something more sinister going on...

Well I use the femometer app and I check my BBT and OPK tests and looks like I’ve just ovulated :) fingers crossed

I’ve never known anyone to ovulate at about CD40 that is bizarre xxx

paintfairy · 29/04/2020 11:15

@Wanderer1 after the chemical, did your period then come after the temp decreased? But it was just 'late'?

paintfairy · 29/04/2020 11:17

@Jaydaebee ovulation is the only part of the cycle that can be delayed. Stress can do it.

Baskininthegarden · 29/04/2020 11:18

are you stressed maybe just in this current situation. I skip one of 2 periods a year if anything majorly stressful is going on in life/jobs

Wanderer1 · 29/04/2020 11:19

@paintfairy eventually, more or less when it got back down to bear line. I was 10ish days late and got some faint positive tests on IC tests.

Jaydaebee · 29/04/2020 12:44

@paintfairy yeah well fingers crossed for me then 💜
