Is +opk day before period a bfp??

I’ve felt a bit off the last few days and don’t have any pregnancy tests in due to lockdown. I did an opk test instead as I remember from my last pregnancy it showed up as positive but I was further along. I know am opk will always have two lines as LH is present throughout the cycle, but I was surprised to see the 2nd line darker than the 1st. Is this normal the day before AF or could it be the start of a BFP?

Annoyingly because I've just joined I can't post a picture?!?!😠Any way around this?

If it's very positive then likely you could be pregnant. Certainly for me if the opk is very strong positive and comes up very quickly then I've been pregnant. I've tended to do this first to see if there's been any point wasting a hpt. Somehow seeing a negative or light positive opk isn't as bad as a negative hpt! But you need a hpt to be sure.

Thank you it's true I need to get out and get a test. Although will see if AF comes tomorrow. I have 3 kids and always tested + on an opk before buying a HPT, but I was always late never tested early. Will update if it is!

I found a HPT test I'd forgotten about but it was a BFN so I'm obviously having an LH surge before AF😞

Was it in date because test could be wrong if it has expired

Having this confusion too. I’m due on in 4 days and got a dark opk strip today. Into did one because of how I’ve been feeling recently, nauseous, emotional and sore boobs. Could this lead to BFP or just sign that AF is due ?? X

I am due AF on Sunday got a positive OPK yesterday and got my BFP this morning
