But with the internet cheap tests i always can see something but not quite and i feel like im going crazy. Does anyone else have trouble with these? thanks in advance xx

Hi @MrsLouB I'm. Sorry about your miscarriage ❤️ I had my third loss in February, its shit.

I'm sorry I can't see anything on the pictures. I use the amazon cheapies and got a squinter yesterday that the camera didn't pic up but definitely there on invert and real life - af 2 was days late, with high bbt temperature but had a massive temperature drop overnight and af started with a vengeance this morning. I'm leaning towards dodgy test for me.

When's your af due? Hope you get some good news soon.

Hi VenusStarr thanks i really dont think i see anything but im drawn to something if that makes sense.

It sounds like you might of had a chemical pregnancy a lot of people think they false positives but its manly down to us testing early if that makes sense xxx

My AF if due friday so some time yet but i have no more tests and if probably be wasting my money anyway xz

I'm sorry, I know how it feels to want a positive result, but the test stick is negative

MrsLouB · 21/04/2020 11:31

@Greyeye thanks i know ive been seeing them like this for 14years but its more that i always see a shadow of a line on the internet cheapie test just wondered if anyone else saw a shadow line on there's. i have had positives and know if it not pink chances are not bfp x

It's horrible, isn't it?

Before I had my "miracle" son (now 17 years) I had miscarriages and spent a fortune on test sticks...

I would pull them apart, scrutinise them... desperate for a positive... it really messes with the mind...

Best of luck xx

I had a love/hate relationship with internet cheapies! Constantly taking photos and showing DH what I thought was a shadow or anything (which seemed like a lot!) but I will say the one that was bfp, there was no mistaking. Very very faint but it looked different and I could see the pink not just a shadow. They really mess with you don't they but they're so cheap and easy it's hard not to do lots. Best of luck, I hope you get 2 pink lines soon x

Im truly sorry for your loss, I lost my son 21 weeks ago. He was born sleeping 😭💔 hes my big tiny blessing ❤
I gave up on cheap online tests when I was trying for my son because like you I could always see 'something' there drove me insane, I used frer after that.
I'm 6 wks preg now but I waited till AF was due and used a co op £3.99 test.
Good luck to you

MrsLouB · 22/04/2020 09:54

@Greyeye yeah i know what you mean, i just always see a shadow line on these. but a positive there is no mistaking and i have seen a few before my last MC so i do know but it does mess with you x

@bluebell94 yes thats me, but when i did get my bfp i used a different test anyway and there is no mistaking even faintly as its pink as you say, i do always see the strip line on the cheap ones for some reason and its just makes you huh! x

@TTClou i am so sorry for your loss and can only send your virtual hugs, but also congratulations on your recent BFP wishing you the healthy and happiest of 9 months.

Im being crazy anyway maybe the loss does that to me as i truly am at a loss currently, but i know that i wont get any other BFP until we go for our last FET as i need the medical intervention for my lining But i was hoping for a miracle. xx

Sorry for your loss. I too see nothing on your test Flowers
I've TTC 9yrs, 2 losses and currently 7 weeks.
I was using 'one step' cheapies for years and used to bulk buy. The strip looks the same as yours, but with blue dye. I was so used to seeing negatives, for years on end. They are supposed to detect hCG down to 10iu/ml, the same as FRER- but I'm dubious about this claim!

Its the 1st time I've had positives with these tests, but they are SO faint, and nothing showed till 14dpo. (it was IVF, so my days were exact!) On 17dpo, I suddenly got a negative test! I've since read that there was a batch of one step which were dud- and yes, I had a pack of those also. Lot:20171026, Exp:10252020.

I even tested last week using my other one step packs (6weeks preg) and it was darker, but no where near as dark as the control line! (yes, I realise its dependant on urine concentration too)

In future, I will spend more and not get online cheapies. best of luck op.
