Sainsbury’s pregnancy test faint line when picked from the bin...

Ok. I know this is silly. I did a Sainsbury’s test 10dpo. It went quickly negative (I didn’t wait 5 mins). Tossed it in bin and went back to sleep for an hour. Of course, had another look and there was a faint blue line of the correct thickness. Extremely faint though. I then did a boots 25miul test this morning and v negative. Now I can’t get it out of my mind. Shall I disregard the Sainsbury’s test?

Thanks for your help!

Yes disregard it and do another as soon as you can. I never believed in blue evaps until I got a corker a few months ago. It was a full on bfp, six months post vasectomy, only having had sex once and four hours before I came on my period!

I have never used these myself @fakeflower so hopefully someone with more knowledge of these than me will be along. However, from other threads I’ve read Sainsbury’s tests are known for false positives. I also believe that pink dye tests are the way to go so may be worth trying to get your hands on a FRER.

Good luck.

Oh that’s a shame. We had a miscarriage a couple of months ago. I was way more relaxed about ttc before then. I Would never look at a test from a bin before! I’m hoping it gets easier or I get pregnant.
