Hi everyone!

I'm 36 weeks pregnant with my second. I absolutely love looking for lines with tests and getting excited with new mummy's you be! There's so many threads titled line eyes, just thought I would start one where anyone can join in if need be :) I'm no expert but we're all on a similar journey here ❤️

Hi alll,

Think I'm 12dpo, bfn yesterday pm. Got this this morning fmu came up in 2 mins and pink in person.

Over thinking it already, what if it's a faulty test? Shouldn't it be darker?

What do you think?

@OnNaturesCourse I don't have much experience with those tests but it looks positive to me? :)

@babybumpfor2020 look like a clear positive to me! Congrats!

DarcyParty · 02/06/2020 07:24

Ring picture taken with FMU, other 2 taken after that, any thoughts?

@jax have you taken any more tests?
@onnaturescourse could you try a frer? I always find them the most reliable.
@babybumpfor2020 that's a clear positive congratulations
@DarcyParty can clearly see the line on the strip, I can see a line on clearblue too but I've never really trusted them, I'd say they are positive though,

Hi all

Got this faint bfp on a First Response at 13 dpo. Should I be concerned that it is so faint? My period is due today and I would've expected a darker line. I'm concerned it could mean a chemical. Any experience/advice would be greatly appreciated!!

BFN from me this morning.

Will catch up with forum later today x

bluebell94 · 02/06/2020 09:02

@smoby try not to worry, you may be 13dpo but might not have implanted until a few days ago. My first bfp looked very similar and think I was also around 13/14dpo (can't be sure) but they got darker as the week went on. Congratulations Smile

RubyFrench91 · 02/06/2020 09:30

This mornings cheapie.

I thought I could see something where a line should have been yesterday (2 days before AF) but I had dropped the test in a wet sink so thought I’d try again today (AF due tomorrow).

What do we think?

RubyFrench91 · 02/06/2020 09:32

@smoby that is an ABSOLUTE positive!

Congrats!!

OnNaturesCourse · 02/06/2020 09:33

Ruby that looks postive to me!

misssoaps · 02/06/2020 09:34

@smoby it could just mean your urine was a bit diluted, some people get stronger lines in the afternoon, some morning, and early pregnancy hcg fluctuates so much. I will say though I had a line like that at about 12dpo and I did have a chemical, so I know why you are concerned. However I do think it's a pretty good line. Do another in 2 days time it should be a bit darker.
@RubyFrench91 I can definitely see that line

RubyFrench91 · 02/06/2020 09:41

@misssoaps thank you! Well there goes my summer longing for the beer gardens to reopen etc then 🤣

Eeek here I go again 🤞🏼

OnNaturesCourse · 02/06/2020 10:36

misssoaps · 02/06/2020 11:41

@onnaturescourse that is definitely positive!!

OnNaturesCourse · 02/06/2020 12:01

I'm going for a branded test today so will hopefully get a definite answer.

misssoaps · 02/06/2020 12:13

Good idea! Let us know how it goes! I had a miscarriage last month, it started on the 9th may, I normally have 24 day cycles so was expecting my period by now but I'm assuming it's late because of the miscarriage. I've done internet cheapies from amazon and all negative, but I read the reviews and a lot of women got negative on these and positive on other brands so if I haven't got af by Friday I'll buy a frer! Don't think I am pregnant though, don't think we dtd round ovulation at all!!

YourMumsChestHair · 02/06/2020 12:22

So I’ve still been testing and had a couple of BFPs and a couple of BFNS.

Here is the first line from Saturday and the one from today.

The one from today is very confusing because I got a BFN with FMU on an Asda cheapie but then this from a 2 hour hold?

@misssoaps @DarcyParty thank you for your comments. I'm addicted I tested again with a frer and dogo on a 3 hour hold bfn, now I'm disheartened!

Haven't mentioned to Dh yet.

Baby dust to you all

smoby · 02/06/2020 16:42

@bluebell94 @misssoaps @RubyFrench 91 thanks! Although I have stupidly took another test this afternoon and it looks lighter (bottom pic is the latest one) so I'm going to step away from the tests and try again in a few days - very disheartening though.

OnNaturesCourse · 02/06/2020 17:13

@smoby my FR tests were all like that with DC1... And I took a lot of them right up until the 12 week mark. Congratulations 💐🎊 (mine were always weaker as the day went on and I drank more fluids)

Here's my FR from just now. I don't think I need to doubt it now...

smoby · 02/06/2020 17:45

@OnNaturesCourse congratulations! How many dpo are you?

OnNaturesCourse · 02/06/2020 17:46

12 x

mumoftwobeauts · 02/06/2020 17:57

@smoby if the lighter one was not your fmu I wouldn't worry. Also your test from 13dpo, mine was fainter than that :) and nicely progressed. I'm 5.5 weeks now x

smoby · 02/06/2020 18:54

@OnNaturesCourse will you keep testing to see line progression or will you keep away from the tests?

@mumoftwobeauts congratulations! Fingers crossed I have the same result as you! I had a much stronger Line with my DS but I'm pretty sure that he implanted at 7dpo and I think this one didn't implant until 10dpo (based on strong cramps) x
