Line eye thread!

Hi everyone!

I'm 36 weeks pregnant with my second. I absolutely love looking for lines with tests and getting excited with new mummy's you be! There's so many threads titled line eyes, just thought I would start one where anyone can join in if need be :) I'm no expert but we're all on a similar journey here ❤️

Need help with line eyes please. AF not due for another 4 or 5 days and I did a HCG pregnancy test strip. I've never done one before as this is only our third cycle trying and my other two cycles I just waited for aunt Flo but I got an overwhelming urge to test. Nothing appeared initially but after 5 minutes a very very faint pink line is there, can barely pick it up on camera but it looks a tiny fraction darker to the eye but certainly not obvious by any means. Is there a faint pink line there anyway with these cheap tests or could it be something happening? Thank you 😊

I don't have any but Amazon have a pack of 3 for a good price that would be here by Saturday if I order tonight so might get them xx

The second line is like a pink smudge...is this likely to be a positive?

Will take another test tomorrow morning but just want to confirm I'm not mad first. I'm one day before period is due.

Not sure what to think of that test @CaribouCarafe do you have any more to test with FMU?x

@Mich2020 will test again tomorrow with FMU - this was pretty diluted evening urine. Does it look flooded? I only put 3 drops in, as per instructions

@CaribouCarafe it does a bit but usually flooded tests look more 'flooded' everywhere if you know what I mean. That's clear that the line should be in that place so fingers crossed for a more definite answer tomorrow especially as your period is due tomorrow x

@ACMJ I see a shadow of a line in both. Do both lines have colour?

@CaribouCarafe yep both lines have colour! I’ve done 2 clear and simple cheap tests and 2 FRER all with this very faint line on...was convinced it was indent/evap but on 4 tests? 🤣 don’t know how many dpo as I have extremely irregular cycles

Can definitely see that on both tests @ACMJ are you going to test again tomorrow with fmu? Good luck x

@Mich2020 yes will 100% be testing again in the next 24/48 hours so will keep updated!

Took one of my cheapies again this morning. There is a very faint line still but I'm now thinking it's probably just an indent line or something as if I was pregnant the line should have been strong with my first morning wee. We'll see xx

@Mermaidlagoon where in your cycle are you? Definitely a line there, sometimes fmu isn't best, in the past my afternoon wee has been better for tests.

@ACMJ definitely see those lines

I entered my daily temperatures and lh stick results to a tracking app and the ovulation date it gave me was cycle day 12, I'm now on cycle day 22, my cycles are anywhere between 24-27 days long, more often than not 25 days long.

Did another FRER test this morning with FMU not even a hint of a line...what on earth

@ACMJ I have had exactly the same, faint line yesterday and this morning a BFN 😭

Sorry to hear some people have got bfn this morning - maybe test in a few days! If AF hasn't arrived then you're still in it this month! 🤞🏼

I have a quick question about line progression - the pic I have added shows yesterday's and today's FRER. I think my urine might have been slightly stronger yesterday - but should there be a stronger line today... or do they tend to get darker over a few days? I just have no idea and not sure if I should be worried! 🙈🤷🏻‍♀️ x

@RDC2020 from what I have heard HCG takes 48 hours to increase so it wouldn't necessarily be different the next day. 😊 congratulations x
