Thought I would start the May bus as looks like not been successful this month.

Cycle 2

😭 I had the worst argument with my husband last night. Absolutely over nothing... I cried all night and we are OK now but obviously I am convinced now that I destroyed any chances of getting pregnant this month... I am 2dpo... 😭😭😭

I feel awful. I really do feel too sad and too alone. This situation is so sad at times...

I am sorry for moaning.

@Adrianoska moan away. It's a tough time for everyone. If we didn't have work or a toddler to keep us busy I'm sure we'd be in the same boat. Hopefully you'd be fine as 2dpo you've very low chances anyway past ovulation. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Hi All, I am on the other May bus thread but wanted to join this one too!

Currently on Cycle 2 of TTC baby number 1.

CD18 today, ovulated yesterday according to calculations/predictions although struggling with BBT measurements due to lack of sleep and ran out of OPK so can't be 100% sure. I'm using Natural Cycles app and have been for a number of years for prevention so now switched to planning.

AF due on 7th May.

@Adrianoska totally understand how you feel. I had the same a few nights ago with my husband. Such a horrible feeling. And I totally felt alone in that moment too. It’s totally fine to feel sad. I’m sure you haven’t spoilt your chances. Fingers crossed for you

@Adrianoska I’m sure you won’t have spoilt your chances at all, you’ve been doing it LOADS!! And if you want to make up then do a mini date night tonight, send him a message Eg asking him to be somewhere at home at a certain time Or a picture of a “ticket” to something that’s on tonight or that you want to do tonight, with a Dress code, lay the table nicely etc etc

I am not worried about the lack of BD last night (2dpo anyway), just all the stress and tears that could "destroy" my egg or something? Xxx

@Adrianoska it’s made of sterner stuff than that!! Worrying about worrying is probably worse! So have a cuddle and make up was more my thoughts, get back on track 🥰

@adrianoska if people can get pregnant during wars I'm sure a spat with your OH is fine! Positive thoughts my love - you'll get your sticky bean soon!

Chin up @Adrianoska you will not have hurt anything. Try to relax as much as you can, which I know is hard, as stress and worry are just as harmful as anything. You will be fine 🌸

Thank you so much ❤️ we made up of course. But I feel pain in my tummy and I am certain that it didn't do any good to be this upset/mad.

Oh ffs... Every month I think this one is the one and then as soon as ovolution is gone I start having doubts.

@Adrianoska I always feel most positive around ovulation and then hopes start to fade... I am 99.9% certain your argument will not affect your chances so don't worry!

My clear blue advanced opk has detected a rise in oestrogen so says my fertile week starts from today. Going to dtd every other day now. Hope DH has rested enough

So today I am on 2DPO and already 'over' the TWW, how am I going to get through the next 12 days 🤣

@Ltay2 I feel your pain. 1dpo I was like I got this and now 4dpo I am feeling more anxious every day. The wait is a killer!!!!

@MrsLBear Glad it's not just me, and we are similar in dates so can wait it out together! I haven't even bought any pregnancy tests and not allowing myself too until after I know AF is late as that way I can't give in to temptation and test early even if I want to!

@Ltay2 def know what you mean- I went mad last cycle! This time I'm not going to count the days or work out exactly when AF is due, hope that might stop the fixation...

@Newbie0818 so frustrating! Remind me- any inkling of when AF might be due? What has your longest cycle been?

@Ltay2 yeah I haven't got any either and I am determined not to buy any until I am actually late which will be 5th May. I have wasted so much money on them and I think testing early rarely shows anything anyway. Let's hope I can stick to it. When are you planning on testing?

@MrsLBear If I feel like there could be a chance I will test when I am maybe 4 days late as I'm usually quite regular. Other than that if I feel I can hold on (unlikely!) I will try to wait a week if I can. I don't want to assume because I am late it means it has worked, I know I will only set myself up for disappointment and trying to not go all crazy so soon 🤣

Hi all so I finally used the OPK first thing today but it didn’t do anything on the first one. I think I was being silly and didn’t click it on properly.

I tried again but got a low fertile sign. I’m assuming cos that was not the FMU.
According to my apps my fertile window should start tomorrow but my period was 5 days late last week. Do you think that it is likely I won’t get a static smiley for a while?

@Newbie0818 - I take my hat off to you I’m cd22 and beginning to lose all hope of ovulating.

I hate this waiting game and that’s not even for pregnancy test - don’t know how I’ll cope with that lol

@Positivetime if you are using the clear blue ones then a positive may not come for around CD14 /16 or so if you are a cycle of around 28/30 days maybe & it takes a couple of days to “learn” your base levels of hormones I think. So if your apps are saying it’s your fertile window it’s likely they are going from a lot earlier, mine does CD8.
