Anyone testing around 20th April?

Hi all!

I am 26, married for nearly 2 years and It’s my second month TTC. Had the implant out in Feb and had a withdrawal bleed almost straight away. Started tracking last month with OPKs (ova view) but got to CD 17 and never had a positive. Still DTD throughout the month but AF got me (after I went through demented first cycle POAS HPT madness!!).

Decided to buy a different brand OPK this cycle and purchased Wondfo which showed a clear peak surprisingly early on CD 10 and 11 (Sunday 5th and Monday 6th). Had luckily managed to DTD a few times before and just after pos OPK, and feeling more positive this month! Have ordered some ic HPTs and FRER which thankfully haven’t arrived yet! Feel like I need some friends on here to keep me from POAS too early...

On a side note, when I got a positive Wondfo OPK this month I tested same urine with an ovaview... which came out darker than normal but nowhere near positive! Maybe I had a bad batch? Think I will steer clear of them in future though!

My AF is due 26th April and I am currently 7dpo.

How many dpo are people going to test?

I’m 9DPO, not going to test til Tuesday which is when AF is due (if she doesn’t turn up that is). Testing early and getting another BFN is just not what I need, it’s just easier to wait for AF.

I’ll test a few days after AF Is due. The ugly aunt is supposed to be here tomorrow. I keep checking myself, the fear is real.

Has anyone downloaded fertility friends, I normally use fermometer. Today I thought I'd try something different and inputted info into fertility friends, it's come back saying I
Only 5dpo as opposed to fermometer saying I'm 11dpo. So confusing.....

@Megan1591 I’ve not heard of those before. I use Ovia and it’s always spot on.

Hello can I join? I'm also 26 and married for 2 years. This will be our first month actively TTC although we have been casually having unprotected sex for a while now (with no luck, obviously!)

I think I ovulated super early this month (around CD 8 or 9 for a 28 day cycle...) so am not too optimistic that it'll be successful. Hopefully next month my od will have a longer follicular phase.

I'll be 9dpo on 20th April so have promised myself that's the soonest I'll test. Am already stupidly symptom spotting .

Hey all, I'm new here.

Fingers crossed we will get some BFPs soon. I'm 9/10DPO and going to test on the 20th I think. AF isn't due til the 22nd though so I may try and hold off till then. I've had symptoms but they are so similar to my usual pre AF symptoms. I'm really not liking this wait and have so many mixed emotions. This is my first time TTC ever.

I’m now one day late now and trying not to read anything into it but secretly I’m counting every minute That AF isn’t here

Well my AF came yesterday (4 days early... boooo!)
It is definitely AF and not IB so I am out. On the plus size I didn't waste a load of tests!

Hi everyone I am new here and just looking for abit of advice or to see if anyone had been in the same boat
Had my implant removed in July 2019 after being on them for 9 years
Since then I have only had 4 periods and before the implant I was regular last one was 20.03.20 and that was my first since Christmas
First month of TTC (trying to conceive) I tried to track based on last period but they are so irregular so I thought I would test for ovulation but all my ovulation tests were negative.
Been test and this is the day after my "period is due"(if they were regular) and got a negative result.
Would you say its definitely not happend for us this month or should I continue to test?? , finding it all quite confusing due to irregular periods

@Glow1234 I saw your post, I came off the implant in December after being on it for around 9 years. I havent had a period after all since coming off it. Whilst I was on it I did.
I tried using the flo app but as I wasn’t coming on it’s impossible to track. I bought the clear blue ovulation kit about £30 so not mega cheap. It tracks when you are ovulating. On the second month I fell pregnant, I wasn’t sure If I could as I thought there may be some hormones still left. I would really advise you buy this as it worked for me. I’m about 6 weeks so still really early but fingers crossed all ok so far. Good luck xxx

Thank you for your reply it's good hear from someone in a similar situation 😌 I will definitely try that as the ovulation tests I used all said negative which freaked me out so hopefully they were just shitty tests

Thank you it was a pleasant surprise as I’d taken so many tests that all said no in the last few months when you see one that’s ain’t you can’t believe it. With the Clear Blue ovulation test it says each day if they detect a surge in the hormones, and then when is your peak time so it’s really good. I’m sure it worked for me. I didn’t think without having a proper period I’d be able to conceive but I did so it obviously is possible. I thought you stop worrying when you got pregnant but actually you just have a whole set of new worries hoping it all goes ok. Fingers crossed for you :)

I know what you mean about the worry. And then once the baby is born, there’s a whole new set of worries. It never stops.

We’re trying for number 2, I’m hoping this is our month xx

Anyone been testing yet?

@Sussexbysea got a faint positive Friday, and slightly darker positive yesterday.. Won't believe it until I get a darker one tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me

Oh congratulations. Fingers crossed for the darker lines you want. I’ll be testing Tuesday, I’m feeling positive about it for whatever the outcome

Hi @CaribouCarafe,no idea as it was my first cycle post pill and up to testing I was on cd 120! So no idea when I ovulated! Anyones guess. The thing that prompted me to test was that I had some spotting last weekend that didn't progress to af.

120 is a mega-cycle - that would have driven me crazy! I'm only 9dpo so tomorrow is the soonest I would consider testing even though I know it would be better to wait a week... but I've always been an impatient person!

Yeah drove me crazy especially as I was so regular before the pill 28 day cycles. And so desperate to conceive I naively thought it would be quick. Aww let us know how you get on!

I'm having some red spotting which is a bit disconcerting but gonna test again tomorrow and hopefully everything is okay
