Help! What the fuck is going on?

So my periods are mental at the moment no idea why. Last month was like a tsunami and the month before was barely there . My app for tracking suggested I ovulated 2 weeks ago and I had symptoms of ovulation but the OPK I used this morning gave a solid smiley face. So god only knows what is wrong with me.

Is this normal? Can you ovulate twice? Is it normal to Ovulate so late in the cycle? I'm day 22 today.

Clue just uses algorithm based on other women's averages to predict ovulation (although as the months go on it should incorporate your previous data to tailor its predictions to you). It's more likely you have ovulated late rather than twice. Clue will change your ovulation date in the app if you tell it you've had a positive OV test.

Alternatively, could you have ovulated early and be pregnant? HCG can cause positive ovulation tests.

It's all so frustrating, isn't it? I ovulate anywhere between day 8 and day 16 and there's no consistency between months ...

You can have an attempt at ovulating that then falls only to properly ovulate later. I had a nightmare tracking with clue. In the end I used ovulation sticks and eventually I bought a ovusense monitor. This worked perfectly (and explained why my periods were sometimes super heavy, sometimes non existent and my cycle lengths were wild - I have PCOS in a biiiiig way.)

@dorapie gosh I wouldn't know what to do if I was pregnant. Would it show up on a test? Might wait a while

So I used clue and for me it was spot and lined up each time with my clearblue advanced ovulation sticks. The day before my period was due I got a static smiley face on a clearblue and it turned out to be a BFP! Guess the only way to know is to take a test as others have said you get a small LH surge before your period. Good luck x
