Period cramps but no period

I’ve been having cramps for four days or so but have had no sign of any bleeding. Usually DTD will help to bring on the bleeding, but even That isn’t working. We’ve been TTC for three months. I usually never miss a period and am prone to having very heavy and painful periods due to having endometriosis and adenomyosis. However my last period only lasted two days and there wasn’t much blood at all. I tested last month as I figured that light period could have been implantation bleeding but got a BFN. Has anyone experienced anything like this before?

I forgot to mention, I’ve also been feeling light headed every time i stand up and really sick quite often but I have never actually been sick. And have been getting horrible headaches

Cramps and headaches were my earliest signs in every pregnancy (1 successful so far) - before a bfp

Minutes after writing this I started getting very watery but blood tinted discharge. It’s barely noticeable but definitely there. Feeling a bit defeated now 😕 @thaimoon it’s good to know that people do get cramps as a symptom though. I’ve heard so many varied things, it seems almost anything can mean you’re pregnant!

Hang in there, it took a while for me too and it’s hard not to worry. In the end we saw a specialist and her advice was:

  1. chuck out your ovulation sticks -they are not accurate enough
  2. never pee on a pregnancy test until you’re sure you’re a week late
  3. cut down caffeine as much as possible (that’s you and dp)
  4. you don’t need to bd as much as you are!!

We were 2 years into trying, and 2 months after we got pregnant and it stuck Smile. May be a coincidence of course but it sure helped me to relax.

Wish you luck in future Flowers

I also have stage 4 endo and when my period was due I had mild cramps I had a feeling I was pregnant before but when the cramps started I was like oh nope period coming..it never did. Maybe some light bleeding/discharge. I waited a week after my period was due to do a test. I got a first response and dipped it in rather then pee on the stick and was BFP! Good luck
