Pain in ovary when coughing?

I'm 10dpo and experiencing some period like cramping on and off. AF is due in 3 days. When I cough my right ovary hurts (like a sharp pain) I have to bend while coughing to ease it. And a moment ago had a really sharp pain in my left side and couldn't move for a moment without it hurting. Has anyone had this before? I've tried looking it up and saw that some people have experienced it in early pregnancy but I tested negative on and frer yesterday afternoon.

Yes I have it all the time, pretty much always around ovulation. I also had it in pregnancy but that was much later on, from about 6/7 weeks onwards and it was more central/uterine rather than ovulation. It was the same pain when I sneezed

@Beau20 I would put it down to ov as well as I always seem to cramp a lot around ovulation but know I ovulated around 10 days ago as tracking. Does this sound normal before AF? x

I’ve never had it before AF but had it before my BFP at 13dpo from what I remember . I’m now almost 20 weeks pregnant and still get the pain now but that’s due to round ligament pain that comes with pregnancy . Good luck x

@GaaaaarlicBread Hopefully it is a sign then as I don't think I've ever had this before AF. I've had a bunch of other symptoms as well. I've been testing negative but will test again in a few days and hopefully get a BFP! x

I’ve had pain in my ovaries past week and an actual shooting pain up my vagina (sorry tmi) around 12dpo and a bfn. Then yesterday 13dpo I got a really painful stabbing pain down right side of ovary area when I sneezed. It doubled me over . But today at 14dpo I got two very clear BFP

@2020wish congratulations on your BFP! So similar to me then. So many people have said they've experienced the same before their positives!! I tested again with an frer and got really really faint line but can't even tell if it has any colour in it so can't count it as a positive.

are you sure it's your ovary OP? They're much lower down than most people think, right above your crotch not in your 'tummy' are. Sorry if that sounds like teaching you to suck eggs but it was news to me!

Could be a cyst, they are quite common and should dissipate over the coming days. If the pain continues or gets worse I'd phone the doctors x

@forrasee I'm fairly sure it is my ovaries as feel pain when I ovulate and it's almost the same except much more intense.

@catclock I haven't had anything since, just slight twinges in abdomen, but will defo keep an eye on it. However I wouldn't want to bother doctors at this time x
