[Newbie] question about missing a pill for a few days after dtd

I'm new here so forgive my limited use of acronyms... I'm 25F, never been pregnant, was on depo for 2 years and now the mini pill for 4 months or so. I haven't had a real period since 2017 when I started depo, even during my transition to the mini pill I only had light spotting, so I can't rely on a period or bleeding to tell me anything.

I'm usually quite good at remembering to take pills, however for the last 3 days after hubby and I dtd, I completely forgot. I've been absorbed in work and also forgot to take my thyroid medication :( How likely is it that I'll get pregnant if I forgot the mini pill for 3 days after dtd? Research I've done only says there's "some" chance, but I'm wondering how many people here have experienced this?

Welcome OP Smile

Sperm can survive inside of you for around 3-5 days so if you happen to have ovulated during those days following DTD then there could be a chance. The problem is you wouldn’t know whether that’s a possibility as you wouldn’t know where in your cycle you are without having periods.

You can test in around 14 days to see if you are or not as a test likely wouldn’t pick this up before then.
