I am 29 and TTC with my partner. I was in the pill for 12 years and came off in January. I have regular periods being 28 days in a cycle. I have been taking ovulation tests but never seen to get a peak result even when testing daily. I am worried now I’m not ovulating (I know I’m over reacting but the mind is a funny thing!) I have been using tracking apps but when they say I’m ovulating my test never comes back high or peak. I am a little lost and any support would be much appreciated.

@Juno231 yeah that makes total sense. I wonder why clearblue are FMU I was taking these at like 630/7ish when I get up maybe why I didn’t get my peak? I feel your pain I struggle to hold it too I drink so much 😂 always thirsty x

Thankyou for the reply I’ll keep trying! My bloody clear blue digital reader has broken so I’ll have to wait until my new order comes!

@Macaz20 I think CB ones do it differently and calculate a baseline reading so will still pick up any changes in the levels.

@Juno231 I have never had a peak or a reading anywhere near that high. Maybe I'm testing at the wrong time (12pm). I just wanted to understand my body after being on the pill for a long period of time and now I think I’m worrying myself that something is wrong 😂 x

@Macaz20 I have had really tender breasts and a lack of appetite trying not to get my hopes up. What about you? Yes the same day as you. X

Mine are a bit achey too and I’ve had some AF type cramps couple of days ago genuinely thought I was gonna come on early but it’s subsided now. Genuinely think it’s not gonna happen though soon will see next week. Are you going to test early? X

@Macaz20 I have been the same boobs are more achey than normal. I took a test this morning by partner wanted to know but it was negative. I’m not going to take another one until Friday I think (if AF hasn’t arrived. I feel the same, just feel a bit different this cycle and don’t know why. Xx

@JessRa sorry about the BFN however it might just be to early ☺️ I think I feel different this cycle too but I bet it’s all in my head and AF doesn’t miss a beat on Thursday lol. I’m not gonna test early this time gonna await her arrival and if no joy test Thursday/Friday too ☺️ X

@Macaz20 yeah it weird I can’t explain why I feel different I just do. But yeah I’m not getting my hopes up. Yep I’m waiting till Friday now as then I’ll be one day late. I hate testing early but my partner is too impatient. Xx

Are ovulation sticks like pregnancy tests in that your first wee of the day is the best one? Could try that?

@Macaz20 I am at work this week so that is a good distraction for me. AF still hasn’t visited yet due tomorrow but I’ve had no normal pms symptoms yet. What about you? Hope the weekend was ok! Xx

Yeah I’m at work too deffo a great distraction, I’m due tomorrow too she hasn’t graced me with her presence yet. I don’t have any symptoms yet either tbh so just wait and see time I guess. Nights was alright I suppose 😂 just busy xx

@JessRa how did you get on this morning? AF has made her appearance for me, I knew she was teasing me the little cow 😂 always usually 28 day cycle and this one 30 but never mind. Here’s to next month x

Hey ladies do you mind if I quiz you as going to be TTC so started ovulation testing. Have you used these?

@Macaz20 I still have had nothing been taking ovulation tests out of curiosity and my hormone levels are increasing. So I have no idea what is happening with my body. I am now on cycle day 34. All pregnancy tests have come back negative so far.

@JessRa what on earth? How you feeling about it all? Maybe you’ve missed an AF and your going to ovulate again? Sorry about the BFN when my AF came I had everything crossed for you.

@babyG123 I used the clearblue advanced last month but they weren’t for me I’m going to go without this month I found myself obsessing. But maybe try a different brand if I’m not lucky next few months I’ve been recommended femometer and the app interprets them for you ☺️ X

I'm just curious to what LH level you usually are at when ovulating as I'm pretty close and still low, have attached the chart.
