3 days late too scared to test, BFN a few days ago

So my period is officially 3 days late which is very unlike me, I took a pregnancy test at around 12dpo and it was negative. I'm 16dpo now and only have OPKs in and they're negative. My period kind of feels like it's coming as I have occasional cramps but nothing like normal, should I go get a test or wait?

@Finallyamummy thank you, I think I'm going to wait until tomorrow just incase it comes today I had my heart set on a 2020 baby and with the negative test at 12dpo I was so disheartened! I'm so scared to test

I had a bfn with my ds at 12dpo (and 13 and 14) didn't get it til 15 dpo so you're not out yet OP!
