7 weeks after miscarriage and still no period

Hi everyone,

This is my first post so please be patient with me. But I'm desperately looking for some advice or some happy stories of ladies getting their rainbow babies.

I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks on the 11th Feb and I still haven't got my period. I have had a miscarriage nearly 7 weeks later. I just want to get back to normal so I can TTC again. I had a miscarriage about 6 years ago. I went on to fall pregnant with triplets but sadly lost two babies at 8 weeks. I soon had another baby, and now I am hoping to conceive another.

I keep worrying that as I am getting older, it won't happen for us again, but I know the stress isn't helping.

How long did it take for your period to return? And how long did it take you to conceive your rainbows?

Hi, so sorry to hear about your struggles. Sounds like you’ve been through a lot.

I had a Miscarriage at 6 weeks on feb 14th and found out I was pregnant again 17th March( 6+2 currently and quite anxious). my hcg levels went to zero straight away so didn’t wait for a period inbetween. Lots of people say you are more fertile after a loss and now I believe them!

Have you been trying to get pregnant again in the meantime at all, and have you done a recent hpt to see if all your hcg levels have gone?

Have you done a pregnancy test recently? I'd be thinking you haven't had a period because you're pregnant again!

I’ve done a hpt and I’m definitely not pregnant sadly, we’re trying but not checking for ovulation or anything. I’m not entirely sure what cycle is like as I conceived on my first cycle when I had my mc. X

Hi OP I am wondering when did you end up getting your period? I had a mmc on the 23rd April, coming up to 7 weeks now and still no AF for me. Took a pregnancy test definitely not pregnant, I was getting positive tests until last week. It’s so hard when all you want to do is move on.

Hi @Nailvarnish1, so sorry to hear about your loss. I was in exactly the same boat I got positives for three days straight and nothing. But the day after I posted this I got my period.

If it gives you any confidence, I fell pregnant after that period and currently 10 weeks pregnant ❤️ good luck, and baby dust to you x
