Abdominal pain and swelling after ovulation

Hi everyone.

I unfortunately suffered a MMC in January after infertility investigations. I am now in my first proper cycle and got a static smiley face on the CB dual monitor on Friday afternoon so I suspect I ovulated on Saturday. I had a few niggly pains on Friday (this is normal for me around ovulation) but I then had constant pain all day saturday, sunday and today (so far), I can still carry on with normal things so it isn't horrendous but if I move a certain way it can cause a sharp pain. My DH noticed that the left side of my abdomen is a bit swollen too (it is the left side that is painful).
Has anyone ever had this? Particularly after a miscarriage? I remember I had a day of simialar pain a few weeks following my miscarriage (I assume around ovulation) so I wonder if it's just to do with hormones, just strange there is swelling and i don't eant anything to hinder our chances of conceiving!
Thanks in advance for any replies!
